    No entiendo por qué te saca de la aplicación constantemente y te pide que reingreses ID y contraseña. Es desesperante porque estás viendo tu programa y te corta lo que estés viendo y mejor me voy a mirar Netflix o cualquier otra que no te haga lo mismo. Decepcionaste por parte de DirectTV.

    I have had DTV Stream for a while. I was sent a request from one of the platforms where I wrote a review asking me several questions, and tragically, not presenting any resolution. I have ÜBER fast internet with clock speeds over a gig and ping speeds at 6-9 milliseconds, so, unless you do not understand WiFi, it’s ridiculously fast. I cannot watch most shows. There is a video/audio gap, which has to be a bug issue in the way the information is being delivered because you know everything these days is digital, so their software guys are lacking. This is my last month of service. The ONLY reason I subscribed was to watch ALL the Astros games. Now I can’t even rely on being able to hear the games clearly because of the defective audio quality that cannot even be compensated by having the captions on.

    I’m deciding between DTV Stream and FUBO. There are things I prefer about each, and also things I really don’t like about both of them too. I like the channel selection better on DTV, so I wish DTV would take a good look at my suggestions, for if they did implement them, I don’t think it would be a close comparison anymore. Regarding recordings: what’s the first thing you usually do after opening the app (on iPhone, Apple TV)? Check out the guide to see what’s currently on. I HATE that DTV only starts to record a program that has already begun from the moment you press record. So often, I go to the guide and see a show or movie I’d like to watch that started a little while earlier. I press record, but again, I only get my recording started from there. I thought this might be a licensing issue, but FUBO will record the whole program, even if you press record after the show has started! (So if they can do it, why not DTV)? To me, this is my biggest problem with DTV, and is #1 on my wish list for them to fix! Secondly, allow us to “hide” channels we never watch. Even though there are multiple packages for DTV, there are undoubtedly channels you never ever watch regardless of which package you have. I know you could favorite all the channels you like, but that defeats the purpose of favorites. Favorites should be for your absolutely most loved channels, not for getting rid of the channels you never ever would watch. This is #2 on my wish list. And finally, you need to “beautify” this app!!! The Apple TV app is better than the iOS app because it has dark mode. Dark mode is sorely missed on iOS! Basically, this app needs to be more polished and modern looking. That is what FUBO has going for it. It is very polished and looks terrific. The best I can say for the DTV app is that I think it is more functional. Please just modernize the look and add Dark Mode! This is #3 on my wish list. Take care of these 3 issues that I brought up, and you will be the KING of LIVE STREAMING 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆 I honestly am really hoping that these issues are addressed in future updates. I’ll be holding my breath and keeping my fingers crossed 🤞

    It’s so frustrating to have something you’re watching just stop and the message, “Are You Still There?” come on screen. Please, please please reconfigure your algorithm for halting the program I’m watching and asking if I’m still there. If I just changed the channel or flipped to the guide, of course I’m still there and watching. Shouldn’t this message only be triggered if there hasn’t been any recent activity? This is the second time I’ve asked for help with this….it really alters my ability to enjoy the show I want to watch. Otherwise, app is much better than it used to be. However, this also means that the cost has skyrocketed.

    The Apple TV version (5.0.61) is completely broken. After not using it for a few minutes, on opening it and selecting a channel, it shows nothing but a black screen. The only way to make it work is to flush it from memory and relaunch it. Then it works until the next time it sleeps. How in the world does a multi-billion dollar company put something this buggy out into the world?

    30 seconds is not practical. It's way too long. Doesn't matter what one's watching - movies, shows or sports - 10-15 seconds would be the sweet spot. Please, developers, make this happen. UPDATE March 2024 Switching to a channel now takes 2-3 minutes! Why? All other streaming TV apps do it instantly. On occasion, changing channels takes so long it times out and displays the error “Couldn’t load content. Try again later.”
  • Recent update has rendered the app non functional. It doesn’t load…black screen!

    App will randomly sign me out every 6 months. App will be bullied off of smart TV stream casting easily if you open another app that runs adds while watching DirectTv.
