Description

With God Daily is written for those who are disillusioned with popular forms of consumer Christianity and are seeking a more honest, less sentimental exploration of faith. Award-winning author, speaker, and pastor, Skye Jethani, writes powerful, smart, relevant reflections to help you live with God amid an increasingly pluralistic, post-Christian culture. He also navigates what it means to follow Jesus without the fear and anger that infects so much of popular faith today. Instead, he offers a path to genuine communion with God rooted in the Bible, and a vision for the common good that disarms culture war Christianity. New devotionals are published 5-days each week and include: -A reflection written by Skye engaging Scripture, theology, history, culture, or current events -Links to related passages of the Bible -An historic prayer to guide your own communion with God The app also features: -Searchable archives of past devotional series -Shop for other books, ebooks, & products by Skye Jethani Stop living your life under, over, from, and for God and start living in communion with him. About Skye Jethani Skye Jethani is an author, speaker, consultant and ordained pastor. • Great content, horrible app

I love the content but the app experience has made me not be a daily reader. Everyday I have to sign in to the app, no feature to remember password or open with Face ID. The layout is ok but having to log in everyday is a hassle.
  • Continual re-logins, but great content

I love the devotional, it is Biblically sound and refreshingly devoid of Christian Nationalistic nonsense. But the app forces you to log in every single day, it does not save your account info, and it occasionally just stops working for days at a time. Content is excellent, app could use some adjustments.
  • Best Daily devotional BY FAR!

Thank you for such a simple daily format for devotional Bible Study! The content is so thought provoking & challenges many assumptions I held since childhood. Skye does a great job breaking down large theological concepts into several weeks of study & meditation — not skipping topics or little passages each day. If i wake in the middle of the night, often i will turn on the voice reading of the devotional & it’s such a blessing to medicate in God’s words in the middle if the night too. The use of historical prayers adds to the richness is the teaching. I can’t thank you enough — I too was a person who hated daily devotional… this one is renewal for me!
  • App has been defect ridden for years

Like many others I appreciate the content but it’s pretty useless when the tech is a barrier. There are lots of plug and play content options - it’s not a good idea to hire a team to recreate the wheel unless you have experience in software to avoid constant outages and defects that inhibit access to the message. It’s bad to have poor UX and routine outages like this for weeks let alone years - makes me wonder if there is something else going on that would lead to these decisions and outcomes. I’d be happy to help and even happier to have access to the login page again and change to 5 stars.
  • Wonderful Devotional

With God Daily is a wonderful, paradigm-adjusting devotion. However, on my iPhone 14 the app has not worked (even after multiple deletes and re-downloads) for a couple of weeks. The experience is good when accessing WGD in Safari, but PLEASE FIX THIS APP!
  • Buggy or doesn’t work

App no longer loads at all for me. Also had problems where it logs me out of my account almost every time. Love the content but the app is pretty terrible. I’d recommend not doing a web app and instead go native.

This is a review of the app. I’d give it a zero if I could because it simply doesn’t work. I’ve tried many times over the course of a full year. Over and over it fails to load or crashes. Even after updating it, still if fails to work. As for the devotional content, it’s great. I do all of my listening through the website. I just wish I could access the devotional on an app. An app that WORKS would be amazing. Note to Skye: Please change your app developer. The one you are using doesn’t have the skills needed to develop a working app. That are many great app developers out there. Go hire one of them and resolve this problem.
  • Content great, app temporal conscious torment!

I’d give the app design half a star and the content five stars. Shared this a year ago via email, no change. App is still so inconsistent. Doesn’t open. What’s the point? I’ve reached out numerous times. It’s not worth it.
  • Brilliant Devotionals - Buggy App

I love the devotionals. Really I’m only leaving this review because I’m unsure how else to communicate the technical problems as it seems all app developer contact links are dead now. I haven’t been able to run the app for weeks now. When I try to open it the app sits on the splash screen forever. I believe they’re changing developers or something, but I would prefer a buggy app that opens to no app at all. I will HAPPILY change my review to a 5 star review (6 if I could) once the app is updated and I can actually open it. I’ve tried deleting and redownloading it, restarting my phone etc. nothing seems to fix it. These are fantastic devotionals and the app used to be the best way to open them, but I just wish I could still open the app.
  • Stuck on title screen

App only opens to the title screen. I’ve used it before, a couple years ago and loved it, and wanted to get back into it now that I have a longer drive to work. Very sad it isn’t working. Please fix soon!
