With the iOS Book Art app, it's easier than ever to create Measure, Mark, Fold patterns, Cut & Fold patterns, and Shadow Fold patterns. Just tap 'Create document' and enter a few details about the book you would like to fold. For beginners, Measure, Mark, Fold patterns work best with solid images and shapes that aren't overly detailed; hearts and names are perfect! Check the preview to make sure the pattern was generated appropriately; if necessary, try adding or removing white spaces around your shape to adjust the aspect ratio.
