The “bookshelf” screen is black until I toggle the “show downloaded titles”. Highly confusing. When reading in panel mode, swiping backwards doesn’t work. I have to TAP on the right half of the screen to go back. However, forward swiping works great. I’m sure there’s more.
  • Good content, app needs work

The selection of comics is tantalizing to this newcomer. However, I have a major complaint with the app. Why is there no wishlist/reading list/save for later feature?? It would make it so much easier to shop if I could have a running list of the comics I’m interested and then come back to it later. It’s like if Amazon didn’t have a shopping cart function.

Love that I can read berserk but the devs really need to put in a bookmark so I don’t have to restart the comic all over again.

I have spent a small fortune on Dark Horse titles. I regret ever using this app. I have had nothing but trouble with it. Comics I have download disappear, comics crash, I tried to rest my password, received an email with no link. Buyer beware.
  • Meh app, meh service

I mean theyve got a decent library but the fact you have to pay basically normal comic prices for a digital good is kinda dumb when the competitors such as comixology and marvel unlimited offer WAAAY more for a small monthly fee and you unlimited comic book reading and a massive library to choose from, why would anyone use this app? If you ever become a subscription service count me in! Until then ill just buy real comics with my money.

I love that I can read the Berserk manga on here but the major issue is the app’s functionality. If I go into the settings page there is no way to get out of it I have to delete the app and redownload it each time.
  • Good content, bad app.

I love reading hellboy and plants vs zombies comics but the app is super buggy and all-around broken.

I’m a huge “Hellboy” fan and I’ve lost track of how long I’ve been using Dark Horse Digital. However, the purchasing portion on my iPhone app is getting wonkier with every update. Twice, I’ve purchased titles and had the purchased title download as well as another title I did not purchase. When I would go into my downloads, only the unwanted title was there and I had to pay a second time for the title I wanted. I’ve lost close to $8.00 because of this issue. Over the last week or so, titles that I had purchased and downloaded would show the price as if I never purchased the title rather displaying the “Read” button unless I close and reopen the app. Sometimes a $3.99 title that I’m interested in purchasing will display a much higher price such as $29.99 and again I have to close the app and reopen it. What is going on here???!!! Please fix these purchasing problems.
