  • Free is useless

The app has no free plants. So you can't even try it out! Love the idea but need a less expensive Home owner version.
  • Have to pay just to truely try the app

    By nitricacid
They give you one preset choice in each category to try the design. Of course need the pro version to really see if its worth it
  • Great concept but needs work

    By ben819
The idea of this app is great but it’s hard to Crete a custom landscape with. This app has very limited choices that are able to be inserted it needs to expand what can be dropped in quickly just by searching also everything is already pre designed I want to be able to take an idea that I. My head and build it in the app this goes for all the customization you sell a customer on I do a lot of hard scaling in addition to landscaping I wish this app allowed me to map out an exact design shaped the way I will custom lay make it the height I want it the color I want it I get it there’s only so many you can possibly have pre loaded but allow me to upload one pic of a single block and a single cap and let me build a wall or raised bed border block by block the pre loaded images are useless when creating something custom every yard is shaped differently and each customer has there own specific wishes. It’s not really designing a custom landscape when you can change anything making it custom means it’s specially shaped and designed for a yard so even tho I have thousands of images on my phone from previous projects there very difficult to use because every project is different
  • Not user friendly

Not user friendly for amateur. Bad graphics.
  • I'm no Annie Leibovitz, but that doesn't mean you can have my photos for free!

    By Rdyornot
I just completed a stone retaining wall around a new flower bed and decided I would try out the full version of the app (I had tried the demo before - original review is below) - I was enjoying myself as well. I had known the app's plant image library was limited but the user is able to insert their own photos in the upgraded version of the app, which was acceptable. The app does not allow you to insert your own photo directly into your project, it must be uploaded to iScape's server first - and to do that you must first agree to give up all rights to your photos to the vendor, to use, sell, distribute, or just plaster all over their office as some corporate stalkeresque wallpaper. This is insane. I know my pictures aren't going to be hanging in any gallery, but they are *mine* and i'm not going to give them away to a peddler of overpriced software. What it actually is is a demo for yet another app that wants a monthly subscription to access any meaningful features. The 'free' (demo) version gives you access to 16 trees, 7 shrubs, and no constructed elements (paths, gazebos, boarders, etc.) Which makes is almost completely unusable. The app itself seems perfectly fine, just unusable without a subscription.
  • New user iScape

Just downloaded this and it’s awesome! 4 stars because the cost of the app. Way to expensive for Harry homeowner. Professional landscapers will get ROI… but homeowners with one or two projects will most likely not pay that price.
  • $10 to try basic functionality feels wrong

    By kea9999
It should be possible to use some basic functionality to find out if the app is what you want. It allows you to try a few things out and decide if you like it. An app that is nominally free but can’t be used without paying $10 feel like a bait and switch. Just charge this upfront and list it as the price. It wastes peoples time when you get them to think they are going to be able to try something out for free before deciding they like it or not. Only to find out after installing it that they can’t. Feels unethical. A review on techradar said the app is free unless you want to by the pro version. It isn’t.
  • I need help

    By mrsneakymeatball
I love this app but all of the sudden my app won’t load I tried resetting my phone (iPhone 11) and nothing after I deleted the app and again nothing help me
  • There’s NOTHING free about this product

    By not a contractor
Could you please stop claiming that this is free software. There’s absolutely nothing you can do with “free” options here. It would be a lot less frustrating if you charged for it from the beginning and I, personally, would pay for it but not if you trick me into downloading and figuring it out to find out that there’s nothing I can do with this unless I upgrade. I’m not a contractor.
  • Not worth the cost

    By Mjr. Muckup
I want something that will help me design the landscaping for my front yard and this isn’t it. There’s no filtering for plants and just simple basic info on how they grow. It just doesn’t do much for the money.
