The changes made to the Charge 5 have been a step backwards. The previous displays for the sleep information was much more visual and actually and provided more information. The update changed the format, made the information more complex and dropped some of the information that was important for analyzing quality of sleep. I would much prefer going back to the previous format. The Charge 5 also dropped the measurement of stair steps taken. Am thing of changing from Fitbit altogether.

I just today had to update my app.today. I am very disappointed in this new update! It used to be so easy to use and read the sleep scores . Now it reads like a formal medical graph. Not user friendly at all. I am using the Fitbit premium right now but will cancel soon. I’m hoping when I cancel the graphs and how they look will be much easier to read. I don’t see anywhere to make adjustments . Come on folks( google) this app was enjoyable and easy to get around . You know the old saying@ if it ain’t broke don’t fix it.!” Why do you always feel the need to change things when they were so easy to use. I mainly use the sleep app. Now I feel I have to read medical records just to see my sleep log/ session. I haven’t even looked at how the steps are going to play out . Im a pretty computer savy 74 year woman . I just like to see the sleep graph with these older eyes a bit easier. Not all those think the lines you just added are helpful info. A little help here , also you folks sitting at your computers and thinking this stuff up, we are not all 25 year olds! Older folks have lots of issues with sleep, so let’s help them to read those kooky graphs you just forced on all of us!There are still a lot of seniors using your product and I’ll guarantee you just did not make their day!! It’s also almost impossible to put your fingers on the sleep graph , to read sleep stages and numbers. To finicky, it’s a long thinnnnn line that most of the time doesn’t move. This new look of the sleep graph is ridiculous . Not user friendly at all.

The macro breakdown is broken since the last update. Totals in nutrients section are correct but the macro section is showing then much higher.
  • New interface is hard on the eyes

This app provides an easy to navigate interface…that looks horrible. The sleep section went from easy to read to a fully white graph with yellow highlighting. I look at it immediately after waking up and it’s so harsh on my eyes, I don’t care for the data anymore. The app provides a lot of value and easier to navigate than apple but you mostly look at data and that’s a tall order when it’s hard to separate these similar colors

I really hate the new update. I mainly use my Fitbit to track my sleep. The chart and the color changes is really a big mess. It’s really hard to read. Please can I go back to the previous version.

When I first started using my Fit Bit it was so awesome. It gave me all the information I was wondering about. I likes the whole format, especially sleep patterns and whether or not you snored or made noise, also the heart rhythms and irregularities I miss. The charts were excellent and easy to read. The second revision the main page was hard to get use to and no color. This third revision is horrible when it comes to sleep patterns. I don’t like it. Love the watch but relating the information is going down hill when it comes to my needs. That is just a few things I haven’t liked. And yet another revision over night.

They keep promising me with each new update that my step streak will be restored. Not only has it not been restored, they keep taking away features! It makes no sense! Just when I thought they couldn’t make it any worse, they updated the only remaining good part of the app, the sleep tracker! It is now almost impossible to read and impossible to compare nights. So frustrating!
  • Update is severely lacking

I used to like the app, but visually it seems to be going significantly downhill. Most recent changes to sleep stages are pretty much impossible to read. The three distinct colors before were much easier to read. Also devices lose connection and have trouble syncing. Please take a beat and reconsider these terrible design choices.
  • App is trash since Google took over

I used to LOVE my versa. Tracking exercise and sleep were my 2 favorite features. Now it looks like it has the format of pong. First they ruined exercise tracking and more recently sleep. Hate my Fitbit now. I can only guess Google is trying to tank Fitbit so everyone gets a garmin watch. So disappointing they took a great product and ruined it.
