  • Sub-Par Replacement for Mint

    Credit Karma is a sub-par replacement for Intuit’s former product Mint. It lacks desirable features Mint provided. Credit Karma customer service has been poor as well. I have an error message I’ve been trying to resolve and all communications to date make it obvious their technical person is not reading (or not comprehending) what i wrote to them, and are simply following a trouble shooting script that doesn’t work.

    Signed up for this new feature on Credit Karma while doing my taxes on turbo tax. Have been attempting to link my navy fed account since February. Every single attempt ends with “Oops there’s an error on our side, please try again”. The account shows up as linked on Navy Feds side so after talking to them, I contacted Credit Karma support. I’ve been going in circles with them for over a month and have been instructed to do everything from get a new phone (I have the iPhone 15 so it’s not that) to them instructing me to open a new bank account 🤯 At this point I needed my money and just paid the fees to directly send it to my card but that adds up to almost 100$ in fees. If they are doing this to multiple people they are making a killing off scamming their customers. Highly disappointed and will not use them when doing taxes or anything in the future. *Response to developer response: I’ve done all of the above. It was members of Credit Karma support who instructed me to sign into my account on a different phone, open a new account bc it MUST be my bank, try buying a new phone ect. You guys did everything but fix the problem or refund my money. AGAIN. Will never use your products or services again.

    I used mint.com for years and years and this is nothing like it. I went to mint every day. This I barely go too because it’s horrible!! Not useful at all.

    This is the best tool if you are looking to fix your credit . I have increase my score by more than 150points because I'm keeping an eye on it. The app helps with that a lot by notifications and simulations. I used another apps that wanted $12 a month. This is just as effective. ITS FREEEEEEEE. Thanks credit karma. *update This app is trash no. When it merged with mint it lost off the functionality that mint provided . Horrible decision.
