  • Tennessean e-edition

I’ve subscribed to the Tennessean for decades: first the hard copy and for the past few years the digital print edition, visually simulating the hard copy. This new [and not] improved app is cumbersome to navigate between The Tennessean print edition and USA Today. The app freezes frequently (I read on an iPad Pro as I have for years). The new black and blue menu bar at the bottom is visual clutter and difficult to navigate with adult fingers. Very frustrating. Please restore the ease of use the old app supplied.

This app is my favorite way to read the Tennessean. Well done!
  • Wasted space

When I open a puzzle; why does the app show the puzzle in only the top 1/3 space and the majority of the page is a disclaimer about privacy policy? When I try to print the puzzle, most of the space is taken up by the disclaimer and there is little space to write on the puzzle.
  • Terrible app

This is a very hard app to use. Cannot see the enewspaper in the way it was before (sideways on a tablet). Also cannot determine if you can see other states editions as you used to be able to do. In general, the app is not at all nutritive and is a pain to use.

I relocated to Nashville from a very large city with a paper reputed to be among the very best. I must say that I strongly prefer The Tennessean. I read it every day, and it’s well worth the subscription cost. They have great writers who understand journalism and standards.

Prompting me to let them notify me and giving no way to say no and get rid of the prompt except logging out - TERRIBLE
  • Hate it

I do not understand why a paying subscriber is bombarded with pop up adds. Annoying and not wanted. Why does the epaper not automatically fit my iPad for easy reading. Both features are poor.
  • Sports newspaper

The majority of news alerts are for sports. Don’t bother if you want actual news.
  • Can’t manage a suspension (vacation hold) on the app

I have to Google “Tennessean Manage Suspension” to get to the page. Why can’t you put this entry on my account page?
