    No point in going into a long story here. It won’t matter. Just hope you never need to deal with them - especially by email. They don’t read, they just send back boiler-plate responses that don’t address your actual concern.

    I cancelled my subscription but was then charged $99 for another year. Contacted help why that happened, they apologized and said I had been refunded. When I checked my bank account later I had been charged $99 a second time! Customer service didn’t help at all, saying I had only been charged once regardless of sending screenshots of everything financial proving I had been, received nothing but auto reply answers with no solution, then told me to contact my bank to have BOTH charges removed?!? What? Stole $200 from me and said to take it up with my bank? Told a friend who said something almost identical happened with them and took 60 days through bank filings to get their money back. I’ll never see this money again - they robbed me.

    You’ve got to scroll though four advertised products to get to what you searched for, then there’s only two results before it’s four more ads. It even overrides the filters. What’s the point of the filtering by anything if you’re just going to advertise something vaguely related to what I searched? No, I don’t want an orange chicken TV dinner, I searched for raw chicken breast. If I wasn’t disabled I wouldn’t use this awful app.

    This was a super great app in the beginning and helped out alot as I am a stay at home mom and my boyfriend works late, after awhile though it started charging random charges out of the blue and nothing had ever popped up when I paid for my orders so I know there is no way it is from that, I also have the receipts from my card showing I paid the full amount of my orders. This also happened to my mother before she deleted her account as well. Insta cart had charged her $105 randomly when she hadn’t used her account in weeks.

    I had the app for some time. Then one day when I made an order For Costco the shopper did follow my directions and was so RUDE to me and called me the C word! I was going to blow it off about the rudeness but the C word, NOPE. I called customer service about it. The operator was very polite and told me her boss will contact me. I Never was contacted and I didn’t take it as a big deal. When I tried to order off the app again my account been locked! What?! I been fighting for weeks to fix this. I had no way to contact customer service. The number on google tell me to use the app. HOW WHEN YOU ARE LOCKED OUT. I click the link to fix this by sending me an email. I NEVER GOT THE EMAIL! I have to call the senior citizens number to get any help. I just stumbled upon that! I FINALLY got the email to unlock my account. BUT NOW I HAVE TO WAIT 48 HOURS!!!! WHAT?!?!?! I wish door dash or Uber have many stores as instacart or I would go to them! I had with stores they do have! I am so ANGRY! What I’m being punished for that RUDE SHOPPER!?!?!?

    What’s the point of loyalty cards in the app if you don’t get your store rewards? I like using Instacart but don’t get why you honor loyalty cards if when the customer doesn’t receive their rewards for that particular store.

    Don’t trust this grocery app, they’re known to over charge and not refund the difference, I will be canceling my subscription due to high fees and keeping my funds on hold for more than seven days.

    I woke up not feeling great in a hotel and ordered some meds to be delivered since I’m away from home. When I submitted my order it also attached a year membership for $100. I immediately called to ask for a refund and explain I had no intentions of buying a membership. They said there’s no refunds whatsoever. The way they have it on their site is sneaky and shows “free delivery on this order” if you click it. Unfortunate they are unwilling to make it right. So todays $15 order is now $125 with taxes and fees.

    I love Instacart, I don’t even go to the grocery store anymore. Their customer service is incredible and they have such sweet and thoughtful shoppers. In two hours I just open my door and voila! Thoughtfully bagged groceries are at my doorstep. It has changed my life. I don’t even go to the grocery store at all ever since my kids were born.

    I received at text at 2:03 pm my shopper Ginger was shopping. At 2:37pm I received a text that my order was cancelled and rescheduled for the next day at 9am. However needed groceries for tonight, I called at 6:15 trying to see why my order was not delivered and then noticed in the app my order was cancelled and rescheduled for the next day at 9am-11 pm… and spoke with a chat bot, Poonam -and was assured my order would be delivered In the next 2 hours. That time passed and I called customer service spoke with a person and she was not helpful. Apologized but didn’t offer anything for the inconvenience and the lack of customer service nor did they offer another driver. Ive used instacart for over 5 years and have spent over $5000. Most orders go pretty smoothly, just very unsatisfied lately. Lots of hidden charges and upcharges for using the app. Will order the through the stores directly from now on. This is why I pay for the convenience, not to be inconvenienced.
