    Recent use has been glitchy. It will slip back to a previously viewed book or verse. When you highlight it will skip forward and not keep you where you are at.

    Do not expect to have notes and highlights saved on this app. The resource is great and the MacArthur commentaries are wonderful but this is NOT an app that can be maintained for personal use. If you log out, for any reason, all your notes, highlights, favorites, etc., will be gone when you log back in. No reasonable explanation - just gone. So go ahead and read or study but have pen and paper handy if you want to make notes.

    I love this app and the devotionals. The check marks don’t stay. Is this the 2nd edition MacArthur Bible? If not please update.

  • Lots of Bugs - go with a different App

    Frequently freezes while using! When opening a chapter in John, it continues to go straight to Revelation 22. I paid for the extra commentary and half the time can’t access it. I feel ripped off. Go with Blue letter Bible - much better and no bugs!

    It was such a useful app and loved everything about it A year ago I noticed it started acting funny freezing up then I would close and reopen and I would be in Revelations or Genesis. I just tolerated it.. but now most all notes and cross references are not there it’s just blank white space. I have deleted the app twice and reinstalled but it does not help. I will miss the app it was awesome while it worked !

    It is wonderful to have the great content and notes from one of the best study bibles out there. The app design is very frustrating though and could use a good update. 1) It is almost impossible to press the tiny back arrow in the top left that should get you out of the notes and back to the text. Shutting down the app and restarting is the only way most times. A larger button that actually works would be great. 2) Going into the study notes shuts off any audio you were listening to for some reason (classical music is my favorite when reading). Why does this happen? Seems like a bug that needs fixing. I offer these as easy and much needed improvements while remaining thankful for the ability to have this content on my phone, even though it’s unnecessarily hard to use. It’s still worth it for me. Thanks!

    What a blessing. I love my Bible app. Praise God for your work. However, I cannot highlight any more verses. When I add a new highlight, an old one disappears. Is there a limit to the number of highlights possible?

    I would say this is my top spot bible app for understanding verses due to Johnny Mac’s commentary that I purchased. I would like to see it updated to include LSB and fix all the other bugs. Looks like they are aware if the issues but no updates for 3 years, but its fine I’ll keep using it because its so useful. I love that I have it on my ipad too. Once the bugs are fixed this rating will go to 5 star but thank you so much for even having this app! Praise the Lord His word endures!
