What you can't see can hurt you. Emmy winner Elisabeth Moss (Us, Hulu's The Handmaid's Tale) stars in a terrifying modern tale of obsession inspired by Universal's classic monster character. Trapped in a violent, controlling relationship with a wealthy and brilliant scientist, Cecilia Kass (Moss) escapes in the dead of night and disappears into hiding, aided by her sister (Harriet Dyer, NBC's The InBetween), their childhood friend (Aldis Hodge, Straight Outta Compton) and his teenage daughter (Storm Reid, HBO's Euphoria). But when Cecilia's abusive ex (Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Netflix's The Haunting of Hill House) commits suicide and leaves her a generous portion of his vast fortune, Cecilia suspects his death was a hoax. As a series of eerie coincidences turns lethal, threatening the lives of those she loves, Cecilia's sanity begins to unravel as she desperately tries to prove that she is being hunted by someone nobody can see.

  • They Think Their Audience Is Dumb

I fully wanted this to be a good film, but half way through they started pulling plot points that were not well thought out and had clear holes. When a film undermines its audience's intelligence, I lose faith in the reality they are building and they lose me. Too many times my husband and I shouted out something to the effect of, "That's not plausible/possible." Perhaps they thought, "Well, if they are going to believe in an invisible man (I was totally on board), then they will believe plot point X,Y, and Z." No, I don't, and I come away from the film feeling cheated out of my time and money. Also, at the end we meet a character, and his performance is pretty awful. When everyone else in the movie is a good actor, a bad one sticks out like a sore thumb.

  • Unbelievable

Why would anyone want to chase this ugly white lady instead of someone like Rihanna and Beyoncé? The dude was good looking and he was chasing after this Quasimodo looking heifer.
  • Not an interesting story

Acting was not perfect and the story line is not that much interesting.
  • Legitimately spooky

This is actually pretty skin crawling and not corny like many other newer movies in this genre. Highly recommend if you are over the generic, boring “horror”. This is unsettling yet so entertaining you won’t be bored.
  • This movie was amazing

I loved this movie. They put together a master piece. The story is really unnerving and well put together. The villain is sadistic, smart and overall evil. Just watch it for yourself. You’ll love it!
  • Watched it twice

I just finished the movie 🎥🍿 tonight and it is #1🥇 for me. This MOIVE and concept warps you’re mentality 😥😰😨😱🤭 , how the science 🧪 and story makes you keep on wondering how did “this “ happen and why am I going insane 🧐. Hands down the invisible man is my 2 favorite to my list of a good mystery/survival MOIVE #🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇!
  • Meh... Just an OK Movie

Don’t give a movie a bad rating bc it cost to much to rent. That’s just silly. 😑
