Impractical Jokers: The Movie

Yeah it is practically a longer episode but I enjoyed it when I saw it in the theaters, and had some good laughs too. I don’t know who to recommend it to though as it has the same energy as any tv show episode, just with bonus behind the scenes stretched to around 90 minutes. All in all I liked the movie, but this just isn’t for everyone.

I have seen every single episode of impractical jokers. They guys play off each other so we’ll. You can tell they are actually life long friends. I thought this movie was going to be terrible. I postponed watching it forever based on the reviews and the fact that although I love these guys, the idea of the movie just seemed silly. Their shows work everything else is mehhhh. The Paula Abdul story line is obviously pretty silly, but they played off of how silly it was which helped make it not so hard to watch the storyline. I think it would have been better if they stated if some of the events were based off of actual interactions and events over their years growing up together. Also it would have been way better if they found actual actors to play their younger selves and ham up their little quirks. Then transitione to them now. I thought I was going to be annoyed with the other Jayden Smith tatoo but it was actually pretty hilarious and I liked how Jaden Smith was classy and joked about it. The cameo by Will Ferrel was hilarious. Great he supports these guys. I honestly thought I wouldn’t make it all the way through before I watched it but their standby bits that make them who they are were hilarious. Good enough I may purchase the movie just to watch their challenges again. They did seem to pick challenges that were thought out so it would be at the very least one of their better episodes. (Hopefully the kids weren’t actually able to see the strippers. That was a bit over the line and not cool in my book.) If your debating watching it, I would say rent it. It is worth it especially if you need a good laugh. If your a die hard fan. Just buy it so you can watch all the funny bits over again and help support comedy that hasn’t gotten involved in all the stupid politics going on nowadays.

I was so disappointed! I was honestly bored. Never thought I’d say that about these 4 hysterical guys. I’ve seen every episode and watch them over and over again. I just can’t believe how bad this movie was.

this movie was great if your a fan of the show you will appreciate this movie and laugh your butt off

Ehhh the acting and with Paula Abdul was all cringy. The tv show is waaaayyyyy better. Some parts were funny but the plot wasn’t interesting at all. Idk it wasn’t that good of a movie, something I wouldn’t watch again but if you’re watching for the first time just watch it.

I see a bunch of bad reviews but I’m here to say even if there is some acting (which of course there’s supposed to, it’s a movie!) It’s hilarious and I really recommend watching it if your a fan of the show...the story of them is really cool too

10 mins into it, loving it, funny, fresh, ridculous. Love this show, these guys are great, love the how they go started as the banana patrol lol.

One of the worst movies I’ve seen recently. The story, I’m being generous by calling it that, is awful and just plain painful to watch. You watch this movie to see the hidden camera pranks, and even with a larger budget than the show has the sketches put together for this largely fail. The one or two awkward chuckles you’ll have will not outweigh the feeling you will have that your time and money could have been better spent.

I love their TV show. It’s unscripted and hilarious. This movie is the opposite. It’s scripted and really bad acting. There is about 20-30 minutes of the pranks they are famous for and those parts are very funny. But the rest of the movie is poorly done and painful to watch.
