Not sure why a lot of people didn’t like it, but I thought it was cool. :)

I loved it the updated special effects yes the story is a little rushed but they’re not marketing to people who watched the original so many cry babies

Glad I waited to see it so I didn’t spend money on it. Not a good movie, on so many levels. Jagged / broken storyline. Too many odd filler scenes that could’ve been used for character development. Zero character development and the “new” characters introduced, unneeded and awful. They shouldn’t even have tried to link it to the original “The Craft” movie.
  • It was ok.

I’m not gonna lie I almost thought this movie would’ve been rated R considering that’s what the other one was but it wasn’t disappointing and yeah i was expecting a little more and maybe some other familiar faces from the other one.

honestly. this movie was terrible. the ending was VERY UNDERWHELMING, and the entire storyline was a big rushed mess. sad to see people trying to ruin an original with a horrible “sequel”

This movie was garbage this is the worst movie I’ve seen this year it has nothing to do with the first movie nothing to do with witchcraft and all to do with someone’s political agenda

This movie is just downright terrible. I love the inclusion of LGBT characters, however, they, the people behind this film, seemed to think that inclusion will save just how bad this film is. There’s barely any witchcraft going on in the movie at all, besides showing a spell book numerous times and the “big bad” is so lazily written and all it’s ridiculous. The main character, is the only character with any character development and the other 3 girls are all seeming to be in her shadow, and even then the character development is very poor for the main character. The only part that was actually good or interesting, was the return of one of the main characters of the original, which was only shown for like a half of a minute. Very disappointing.

MAYBE had the first movie had ceased to exist and the audience could judge it on its own merits then it would be okay. However, I found myself flinching when I compared this film to it's predecessor. From the shimmery cutesy eye makeup and over indulgence of glitter to it's giggly Instagram friendly focus, this little in common with the vibe of the 1996 version which it's teenaged convent had teen angst, lived basically on the social fringes and wore gothic attire as opposed to these chicks would look as if they came fresh from the a modeling casting call (for the most part). Its like a kiddie version of the original.

I think they were going for a feminist vibe but they failed. It’s not empowering but embarrassing and boring, labeling all men evil and women victim to them. The characters are lame and don’t mesh. Yawn, it’ll leave you wishing you hadn’t. What a let down from the original.
