The Unthinkable

forget about the money, I want my Friday night back so I can watch another movie.

The first half of this film is brilliant, both the subplot about the young man and the action scenes, really well done. Then, it falls off a cliff, too much tries to get done, too many coincidences to set up the memory theme. The director was trying too hard to connect dots the audience could have easily connected themselves. When we see the broken guitar again, everything declines in standard, both action sequences and subplot. The idea is great, a nation state stuck in an anarchic realist international scene, although it could have just as easily been aliens. The transition from young to mature man is excellent through music, as too some of the chaos and uncertainty of war action scenes. But by the second half, I felt micromanaged to see a symbolic point which would have been obvious without the director pointing it out to me like a middle school English teacher.

Where is the English Dub?

Description claims the an English dub is available. After renting it there is no option to watch a dubbed version.

Maybe it’s just the rain but I feel brain dead after watching this.

I was hoping for zombies.
