Description

STEVEN SPIELBERG and GEORGE LUCAS bring you the greatest adventurer of all time in “a nonstop thrill ride” (Richard Corliss, TIME) that’s packed with “sensational, awe-inspiring spectacles” (Roger Ebert, CHICAGO SUN-TIMES). Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull finds Indy (Harrison Ford) trying to outrace a brilliant and beautiful agent (Cate Blanchett) for the mystical, all-powerful crystal skull of Akator. Teaming up with a rebellious young biker (Shia LaBeouf) and his spirited original love Marion (Karen Allen), Indy takes you on an action-packed adventure in the exciting tradition of the classic Indiana Jones movies!

    The legend has finally returned.
  • Improper File Export; Looks incorrect on iPhone 10

Though it does look good on a normal laptop, the black bars are baked into the final export of this movie file, causing it to look wrong on the extra-wide screens of newer iPhones. Nearly all other widescreen feature films on iTunes are properly cropped, with the exported file being the same dimensions as the final film. But this one only looks correct on a 16x9 screen. If the final film is in letterbox format at 2.35:1 then it should be exported with that ratio instead of forced into a 16:9 ratio with black bars added on top and bottom.
  • FLOP!!

My disagreements with Kingdom of the Crystal Skull will never be objected wrong. Lucas & Spielberg cut throat the entire script, you can realize Indiana grows boredom taking the ruins behind his jacket. Raiders & Last Crusade will always be the two best duos. This is second behind Temple of Doom. I’d deep pass this one down the ravine, microwave the knowledge treasured safely. Oh, and it ends with Indy getting married?... What the hell was Spielberg smoking?
  • George Lucas again nearly ruined a great character

With the dreaded Star Wars prequels, and then THIS in 2008....yeah. For the movie itself, it’s not bad. Steven Spielberg’s direction is great, the performances are mostly great (I hate younger Shia LaBeouf so much, he couldn’t act) and John Williams always adds a magical touch with his musical score. But this story feels so.....unnecessary. And CGI is WAAAAY overused in the movie (no doubt a product of George Lucas for some reason feeling the need to make EVERYTHING CG). Bland villain, terrible dialogue, cheesy action scenes? What did you expect when George Lucas felt the need to add pointless garbage to a beloved franchise that didn’t need tampering with?
  • Not as bad as people say it is.

Everyone complains about this film having aliens involved. I think including aliens is totally fine. I was cracking up a few times as well. I mean, it’s astonishing how Indy could survive a nuclear bomb explosion inside a fridge. The cars were super cool too. I’m looking forward to Indiana Jones 5.
  • 2 stars for effort

Shia and the character he played ruined it for me. He along with the writers, killed a great opportunity to pass the franchise on. Harrison was great.
