Description

It is said that Halloween is the night when the dead rise to walk among us and other unspeakable things roam free. The rituals of All Hallows Eve were devised to protect us from their evil mischief, and one small town is about to be taught a terrifying lesson that some traditions are best not forgotten. Nothing is what it seems when a suburban couple learns the dangers of blowing out a Jack-o-Lantern before midnight; four women cross paths with a costumed stalker at a local festival; a group of pranksters goes too far and discovers the horrifying truth buried in a local legend; and a cantankerous old hermit is visited by a strange trick-or-treater with a few bones to pick. Costumes and candy, ghouls and goblins, monsters and mayhem...the tricks and treats of Halloween turn deadly as strange creatures of every variety-human and otherwise-try to survive the scariest night of the year.

I never saw this film and oh boy. This was a great horro film. It has more plot twists than a Nolan film lol…. I really enjoyed the story and the creepy message at the end. This felt like a blend of family horror film if that makes any sense cuz who would watch this with their kids…? Great Film in a time where good ORIGINAL horror films are nowhere to be seen. Better late than never.

Best October Halloween Feel Movie ever!! The stories are great - the stories are twisted - it’s very unique, different and very original! Sure it’s been done before with anthology movies but typically they are all horrible or one is good out of all of them but this one is just sinister how all the stories wrapped into one night and be on the lookout in the background and in the crowds because all the people you see in the movie are everywhere

Not The Scariest, Not the Goriest, not the best characters but all-together the perfect multitude of creepiness, characters and charm that makes this movie: “THEE” movie to watch on halloween and get in the mood for the creepy/cozy feeling of fall

This was recently on AMC’s fear fest yesterday. I recorded it because for some reason it is listed as a comedy, which it definitely is not. You can tell this from 5 mins into the movie with the kid on the steps with the principal. I’m not big on horror films, especially bloody ones. But I was able to make it through this one. It’s more of like short stories put together to fill the time slot of a movie, instead of one cohesive story with a plot. Based on what I’ve seen of horror films, it’s ok. Nothing is as it seems, there’s always a twist to every story that you don’t see coming. I would say it’s worth a watch if you’re into that sort of thing.
