If you lived in NY in the 90's this movie is both hilarious and painfully true at points. The cast is great and Bill Murray does a wonderful job directing. Lots of cameos and great one liners.
  • So funny

This movie sits with Fletch as one of my favorite comedies from my youth. But, iTunes needs to drop this price in half. $14.99, yeah right.
  • Quick Change is a good laugh!!

A very funny indie film notable for two things: it marks Bill Murray's directorial debut (though he shares the duties with Franklin) and it was relative unknown Tony Shaloub's breakout role. Shaloub has a bit part in the film as a cab driver that doesn't speak English, but wound up with a much bigger role in the film via re-writes because he was so funny. The rest, as they say, is history. As for the movie itself, it's an indie comedy in which Murray and his co-horts, fed up with life in New York, plan the perfect bank robbery (the funniest and most clever bit of the film), and find that it's exactly those things they've come to hate about city living (traffic, crime, uncaring civil servants, and neurotic city dwellers) that are preventing them from escaping! After the success of Ghostbusters, Murray tried to use his newfound clout in Hollywood to get films made with his own distinctive voice. This period led to the erratic but funny Quick Change, the disastrous The Razor's Edge, and the pitch-perfect Groundhog Day (which blends Murray's two passions - comedy and philosophy). Give it a try.
