That about says it! Should be at the very least a 65%... Especially when you remember the really, really horrible films (Not All, Just Most) the 80s & 90s!!! Horror really needed these guys to put a little more ‘B’ in ‘BOO!’

I thoroughly enjoyed this film. Sure, there are some weak moments, but overall the storyline was excellent - really quite cleverly written. Liked the added humour they brought to this sequel with the two “assistant ghost hunter” comic relief roles. What I like best about this film is that the homage paid to classic films. All of the Great Horror Movie elements are there: the seeing something in the background while looking the in the bathroom mirror, the fleeting figure skirting the background, the handheld camera effect, the serial killer, the creepy abandoned hospital…all of it. PLUS, definite props for referencing “the classics” with some of the ways they shot the scenes. You get a bit of Poltergeist, more than a bit of The Shining, a bit of Night of the Living Dead, and even a few quick glimpses of a classic horror film playing in the background. If you are a fan of the genre, you’ll love this.

Sure it was scary, scared me for like one night, but man this movie is underrated. I think it's actually pretty good.

My mom has been talking about this movie for a while before we found out that it was in Netflix, so let me tell you a little short story. Well one night me and my mom were in the living room and we got done with out dinner and we decided to go on Netflix and while we were looking for something good we found this movie that we've been talking about, so we play it and it was just sooo good! I was completely glued to my couch that night I didn't even want to get up to go to the bathroom that it was so good!

I would watch the first film before this. If you liked the first one don't expect the sequel to be any better. I thought it was a bit of a let down and could have been a lot better.

I saw this movie in a theater completely alone. With appropriate surroundsound for the special-effects, it will terrify you. Just like the first film it has a deep storyline and impressive characters. Not only do these movies tell a good story but they provide several opportunities for you to jump out of your skin
  • Confusing movie
