Description

Season 2 of Good Girls is all about our women dealing with the consequences of their criminal behavior. When we last saw Beth, she had just returned home triumphant -- her plan to have Rio and the gang arrested, a success, or so she thought -- only to find Rio in her dining room, with a gun trained on her bloodied and beaten husband, Dean. As the season came to a close, a shaken Beth was left holding Rio's gun as he taunted her to pull the trigger and shoot him: the only way out if she and Dean wanted to walk away alive.

    This season has much more substance and hilarious moments. It has more interesting events and the you are totally left on a cliff hangers! Can’t wait until next season!

    I watched this show starting with it’s first episode in 2018 having already been a fan of the actress Retta from Parks and Rec. This show has become my favorite show on network TV and I binged Season one before the start of season 2. I find it more exciting watching it live instead of streamed so it makes Sunday nights a bit more fun. Also, I find Retta to be extremely talented & capable of accessing emotions easily & believably. She is refreshing and I always enjoy watching her representation of the complexity of American life. She’s lends relatability, gravity, & humor to her roles and balances it all in a way that is seamless. As an American woman of color, I feel good about her representation of me in her work. She makes everything she’s in better. I hope this show is around for a while.

    This show deserves a better time slot on NBC. I normally do not watch TV, but this show is an exception. After watching the first season on Netflix, I was hooked. Wonderful characters and great storylines.

    I've NevER left a review before, but this series grabbed me from the first episode. Loved season 1 of Good Girls, and I'm so excited season 2 is finally here. The dynamic of these 3 women is highly relatable, because as women we will stop at Nothing to protect our family, and unfortunately that may lead to precarious situations. Enjoy!!!
