There are no bad guys in this show, but simply two sides with different viewpoints that bring them to conflict. Season 3 of Shakugan no Shana is the breaking point between the two main characters - Shana and Yuuji - where each one takes a conflicting side because of their divergent ideals. Season 3 follows the two as they try to persuade the other the join their cause while still trying to understand their feelings for one another, and bring eventual peace to the world (each in their own way). There are no bad endings here, only mutual compromise and love - oh yeah, and EPIC battles.
  • Season 3 Ruins The Entire Show

I loved the show until I watched the first episode of season 3. Before it was an innocent show about teens trying to balance school, love and saving the world. The blend of Humor, Action and Romance was wonderful. However, the main plot twist that drives Season 3 ruins all this. It becomes self-reflective (not in a good way) and the struggle between right and wrong. The anime completely changes to the point where we no longer seem to love the character we have all grown to love. Bottom line: Rewrite Season 3!!! (If only they would…) I have never seen such a bad conclusion to an anime in my life! Go get Season 1 and 2, those were amazing!
