    This album contains many classics from the early days as well as hits from the late 90’s, when the Bridges to Babylon tour occurred. Very well recorded; containing appropriate audience cheers and applause but with a minimum of background noise. The execution was exemplary for a live album. After all, live means not having a second chance to edit, so no one should complain that something doesn’t sound like the released studio song. Many songs feature welcome changes to lyrics and stage-craft. Rhythm and blues on fine display with many extended riffs. Worth having!

    Just saw them in Chicago and the show was fantastic. Just as great now as when i first saw them in the 1970s if not better. Ignore all trolls and whiners.

    Having heard the Stones in concert several times, I think it’s worth saying that this doesn’t seem to have typical ‘live’ mastering done like I hear on about 90% of other artists ‘live’ albums. The one thing that The Rolling Stones offer is a raw sound, they are the original garage band, they can write a song in 1965 and it will sound absolutely different when played over the last nearly 55 years - and admire that we shall. The piano into to Sympathy of the Devil is a great example of taking a legacy song and making it new just by jamming a little in the front end in a new way. I look back on their nearly 60 year legacy to music and I’m grateful that my ears have had the opportunity to enjoy what they do, emotionally, drunk, sober...it just works.
