I first heard Bayside back in 2005 and have been listening ever since. I own a copy (either physical or digital) of every song they have released. I have to say that this album may be the best yet!
Easily their best since Killing Time

Anthony Raneri has never sounded better. One of the best albums of 2019.

NUMB!!!! Among many tracks that are amazing on this album. Iv not felt this way since walking wounded. This hit hard for my old Bayside feelings. Bringing it back.
Never fail to impress!

I always am nervous when a good band is about to release an alum, because I dont know if they can live up to their past. This album did not fail to impress, I couldnt love it more!!! I hope Bayside will continue making such great music ❤️

I’m a long time Bayside fan but my “true love” of their stuff is Walking Wounded, their self titled album, and Shudder. Since then their stuff, IMO, took a turn towards a different type of sound that I’m not sure I loved. Yes, they still had a lot of amazing songs but each album just had rough patches I’d find myself skipping and even much of the stuff I liked was just... different. Not as unique feeling.
Well, I expected the same this album and I’m shocked how wrong I was. No, this is not the Walking Wounded and their melancholy muttering on that album may never be returning, but I feel like a lot of the mainstreaming of the last couple albums is gone. This album is creative and insightful and catchy and I just love it top to bottom, with the possible exception of “Numb.” This is gonna be high on my list of their albums, I think it’s gonna easily surpass Killing Time, Cult, and Vacancy. Five stars!
Incredible
