No option to sign up

I downloaded the app fresh to be prompted with a login screen with no option to sign up. It just complains that I don't have an account and won't let me enter the app. Well, DUH, I don't have an account, you won't let me sign up for one. I desperately want to try this app, but doesn't look like it's happening any time soon.

Update many years later, this bug is STILL present and has STILL not been addressed. There is no way to use this app. How are people using this app???? There is literally no way to access it???? I’m so confused????

I love this service. The app updates are taking some getting used to and I’m not sure I like the change but we will find out.
Useful

Very useful. Love how the method is forward thinking. Put my money to work instead of just looking backwards to see about spending. For instance I have targets for my once every 6 months car insurance. Or once a year term life. I even have a target to save up for a new pair of Michelin tires every 5 years or so.
App keeps getting improvements as well. Keep up the good work!
Disappointed and confused

I’ve been an early adopter of YNAB and loved using the app until they did away with YNAB classic. I find the new app so confusing and non intuitive and the price way too high for what it does. Looking for alternatives after a year of use and ever rising frustration.
Fun with money

For those of us who love numbers and also those who don’t…this is a great tool for money management.
I simple budget app

I started using YNAB for the envelope system, and stayed for all the other features. I can see spending trends over the years, cash flow, spikes in income or expenses, where money comes from and more. It’s a great app
Problems: banks don’t always link properly
Sometimes it auto categorizes incorrectly
Yearly goals don’t always work well. I usually have to reset them
Love it most of the time

I’ve been a YNAB subscriber for 10 years now. It’s honestly the best budgeting software out there, and one of the only apps I pay for willingly. It does take a bit of time to get used to it if you’re coming from another budgeting app, but it’s totally worth it. That being said, I’m at my wits end with the company. They are continually “improving” things and forcing all of these “features” on us to justify the constant rate hikes. Despite losing members left and right and receiving feedback that none of this stuff is wanted and that users want tier levels of membership, they pretend to be deaf and continue with the stupid updates. At the end of the day I’m still here and paying for it though, it’s just simply the best budgeting software around.
Desktop Version

The desktop version is so much better. I’ve been using the desktop version since 2013 and that definitely gets 5 stars. The app on my iPad I have really tried to use it and like it, but now I only use it if I need to look at something.
Synch Issues

Long time user. I feel the app used to be a lot better and now has issues. I really came here to see what others were saying and to see if I was alone. I’m not. Bank synchronization which used to be really good is now terrible. I literally have to reset the connection daily to get transactions. I went through support but they gave up. If Plaid really is the issue why not get a better provider? Manual entry is not the answer.
