  • unresponsive and frequently freezes

I have to pay for a subscription just to make the app usable. Without it and relying on local storage, the app becomes unresponsive and frequently freezes. The cameras often miss motion events, rendering my investment in multiple cameras and hubs practically useless.

And subscription and unable to use my cameras like I did before subscribing. They have made it mandatory for me to pay in order to use this alarm system.

Blink team. From the last update that was rolled out is causing my blink app to freeze up every time I open it. I have to close out and reopen. Please fix this issue with an improved update!

Ever since the latest update, I am not receiving videos on the app after receiving notification of movement. Please fix this. Without receiving the videos, it makes the camera useless. Also it takes at least 2-3 minutes to connect to the camera to get live footage.

Super easy to connect your cameras to your phone and check on your house through out the day. You can make it to where you receive notifications for all motion detection or just connect to live.
  • Misinformed

Besides the usual slow and delayed responsiveness of the app, I now have the app telling me lies. And by that I mean, I was testing out turning on the lights on my floodlight cameras. It would tell me that the light was on when I could clearly see, standing right next to it, that the light was not on at all. But the app would still tell me yes the light is on!

Technically ZERO STARS Have been having trouble loading the app viewing clips and I only get previews for one camera and the one that said detects animals and people doesn’t. What is the point of paying for features you do t get!

It takes a ridiculous amount of time for the cameras to load and come on so i can see what the heck is going on at my house. I just always give up even trying. The motion sensors are ok. But if you want to be able to check your cameras often --do not get blink.
  • Feed won’t load

When I get an alert on my phone and I click on it to see what/who it is, it never loads. I can see the video feed a couple minutes later, but by then it’s too late. And I don’t have a subscription so I can’t review the video.
  • Works well for our needs, small bug

The app satisfies our needs. We utilize the basic subscription which stores video for a time period from our mini interior cameras while we are away. The motion detection is good, and we like being able to set detection zones within frame. One recurring bug is when we close a camera view, sometimes the app goes to a blank screen. We have restart the app and then it works fine again. It doesn’t happen every time, but seems to be preceded by the video feed freezing up. Still, a minor inconvenience outweighed by the positives.
