I love the skimm and have been a subscriber of the newsletter for a long time. I bought the subscription primarily for the calendar. I loved how it had all the upcoming relevant events coming up but I loved that it also had fun emojis to go with it.. they’ve been gone awhile with just the descriptions. It’s a small ask but hoping you see this and bring back the calendar emojis please 😊

Loved the Skimm but it’s been like a week of the app crashing immediately when trying to open. Uninstalled and redownloaded and it still won’t work. I’ll give it one more week before I cancel my subscription and just go back to the newsletter.

Can’t even open the app—it immediately crashes. Tried reading the news on their website and it is annoyingly left leaning with poorly-concealed opinions throughout. Would love to just be able to read simple, neutral news about what’s going on in the world.

Loved it when it did. Now anytime I bring up the app it crashes. Tried reinstalling, tried a free other things, still nada.

I’ve been a longtime Skimm reader (started back when they celebrated all Skimmers’ birthdays!). I’m a huge fan of the content covered and the way it’s covered. What is frustrating is that the app is inconsistent with having Read the Daily Skimm available. The Today tab has Recommendations and For You, but not the daily Skimm, which is what I predominantly use the app for. I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled and it’s still not there (June 20, 2025 for example). Please fix.

For the past few weeks, the past Skimm articles have always been out of sync, duplicated, or behind a paywall. Today is Saturday and the current article is behind a paywall. This is really unpleasant because I can’t even tell if this is a bug or on purpose. Every old article is now behind a paywall. Unless I subscribe, what’s the point of using this app anymore?

I love the app. I’ve been using it for a few years now and I love the way. The information is presented. I love the different options for the links or even viewing different items for purchasing or even the books to read recently. I’ve noticed that the app will crash when I try to read theSkimm for I will try to go through the link in my email and and because I have the app, it will redirect me to the app, but it was still crash I have updated the app deleted the app and re-downloaded it and it is still having this issue. I would love to continue using this app and helpful resource, but the crashing is becoming inconvenient

I have had this app for several years and I love the calendar the most. But mid February it stopped syncing. Customer service is average and the steps they provide to correct the issue do not match up to the links or options on the app.

I was super excited for this app but all of the icons on the main page that link out to the categories for other articles are stagnant, they don’t actually click through. Super annoying. Feels like a bug but I’ve waited a few weeks and still no update.
