I swear, each update they make the UI worse and remove features. You used to be able to zoom out and see a list view of incidents near you, and they removed that in favor of these terrible bubbles

Was a really well intentioned app but they obviously got money hungry… that sucks

It's BS that you have to PAY to see registered sex offenders. You know about them, where they are and you are hiding them from the public for money that is WRONG.

I use to get notification of things happening around my area or if something happened near my mom (because she is my friend on the app). They may changes where they started limiting the notifications. Now I just keep getting notified that there is a sex offender two streets over. There was a major event in my area (0.5 miles from my house) recently that included a police chase through the streets and citizen did not give any notification of anything happening near me. The reason I downloaded the app to be made aware if something is happening around me. If there is a police chase going on through the streets it might not be a good time to go walk my dog. Without those notifications it makes this app useless to me.

Location must be always AND precise. That’s dumb, especially feeding this data to god-knows-who or via court order or hacker/breach. To stream or family track, sure, you do you. But you don’t need my location within 3 meters to tell me about crime 4 miles away. And app blocks viewing without this set. This is 2026, get real.

When you click on a picture of the offender, it does not appear to respond whatsoever. Why show a picture if it’s a size of a penny, cannot see the face. Useless application.

This app is perfect for staying safe. It gives me the facts about what's happening nearby so I don't have to guess if that loud noise was a firework or something else.
