Very easy to plan rides and make changes to a route. Great product and support 👍

There are no decent tutorials. The last tutorial I found was about three iterations ago and there’s been significant changes. I’m sure once you get the hang of it. It’s probably a good program. But getting the hang of it is a beat down.

Easy to create and modify routes.

I used the app to ride between Greenville, sc and Denver. I also used google maps. Scenic presents me with a green line to follow with no highway or street information. I had to guess. Dangerous. Google just shuts off and routes me back home. Useless. Riders need information, not a green line, maps that disappear. We’re tired, hot, hungry, need to pee, and in traffic. It's dangerous to screw with maps, phones, distractions while riding. I wonder if there is a way to edit recorded trips as sometimes I get off route looking for a parking spot, or fuel.

Even though this app is fairly intuitive I strongly recommend that you watch the video embedded in the power planner at least once. This app leaves Google, Apple and the motorcycle gps apps in the dust! It has no equal. I think the guy that created it actually listens to the people who use it and keeps making improvements that are amazing. All app creators should follow his lead! Yes, I think it is a fabulous app once I took the time to learn it!

First time I used the app I’m routed into a miles-long traffic jam. No warning or an alternative route served up. I lost almost an hour. I used Waze to get me out of there. Maybe I missed something in the settings. Disappointing.

So I was trying to use google maps to track my routes but it often got lost or confused. This app accurately show the turn by turn and even some of my awkward uturns without getting confused.

This app is so confusing and so incredibly difficult to use. It is an exercise in how not to design a mobile app. If you have mountains of time to waste trying to find a decent motorcycle route than this app is for you!

UI is cumbersome and non-intuitive. Route planning is weak. I use Furkot for planning and then import the routes which is a less than ideal workflow. Importing the route can cause it to reverse so a detailed review is needed before setting out. This bit me on the butt today as it took me an hour to figure out what was happening. All that said the navigation was solid. Route direction is via eat the route and waypoint numbering. It would be nice to have a direction arrow every so often to see, in advance, which way you’re being sent off. It gets a little confusing if you have a phantom waypoint behind you and the software hasn’t cleared it yet. Bottom line is that it does do a good job once you get up the learning curve a bit.

Difficult to zoom in and out pinching. Could be my phone but my phone doesn’t have this problem with anything else. Doesn’t show road #s until zoomed in close.
