TL;DR: it’s fun but not for long without paying, and the subscription system seems like it’s meant to take advantage of kids begging their parents to play the game more. So this is a fun game I returned to after hunting around the App Store for horse game nostalgia. It’s basically Temple Run but with horses and better music and a horse stable you can decorate. I actually think the ember/food system is well-balanced, but what bugged me was the subscription. There’s no way to progress past the first character unless you pay monthly forever. I remember the last time I played (years ago) it was a one-time purchase to access all of the characters. I couldn’t afford that as a kid, but I could now, or I could buy it for my cousin or whoever, but I don’t want to pay like 90$ a year to play this game- even if I’m really enjoying it! It feels rather predatory. So be aware of that when downloading. o7

The amount of things that they give you is not even a little bit of embers and peddles people who are horse lovers don’t get this game.

Used to play this game all the time, until they locked all of the horses. You used to be able to buy them with in game money but for some reason they decided to change it. This will still hold a special place in my heart though. Overall well made and I would recommend.

They’re so pretty

This was one of my favorite games when I was growing up and now they make you pay for every single horse except for Lily this is outrageous. I can’t believe this. I miss when you were able to earn the horses with embers and have fun in the game. But now you have to pay for every single horse in the game and you have to pay for a monthly otherwise you’ll lose the horses. I can’t believe this!!!

I love it that we all get every horse for free and it is very challenging and fun because it's a non-wifi game and it is very entertaining
