  • Tuner doesn’t work

    When I tried to play the G string it told me that I was playing the B string, even though I wasn’t I hate this

  • Sound Calibration Issues

    it’s alright however, theres an issue with the sound, it barely matches up to when the notes are said to be played, this means that when playing along with a practice song i often get marked “too early” or it’s just marked as a miss. this would be alright but these ratings can prevent user from getting stars, which are needed to progress

    At first it seems like it was tailored for electric guitars but you just have to choose the right lesson. I love the new stop n go feature. I love playing fast songs but its challenging to keep pace. With the stop n go feature it lets me correct my mistakes and actually learn from my mistakes instead of just playing over and over till i get it right.

    Every time I attempt to tune it picks up wrong cord. So every time I attempt a lesson even if on the correct cord it says you are playing the incorrect cord.

  • Use wired headphones!

    It’s epic with wired headphones. Really good in-depth tutorial videos and honestly never had instruction like this. It makes it a game and it works! You don’t look at the fretboard or strings and it’s really cool. It emulates amp sounds using the microphone and there is no latency (amazing) but you have to use wired headphones.

    I chose the Gibson App last year on my birthday to learn something I’ve wanted to do for years and I’m STILL finding things in the App I didn’t know were there! This App seriously has MORE INFORMATION than you can imagine! Professional input, guides to take you through everything from theory to technique…and I PROMISE you can’t get this much info and instruction anywhere else for such a good price!!!!     Good so far think you should be able to select specific strings incase the tuning is very off otherwise it seems to pick up other strings, I feel like the monthly subscription might be a bit much for people maybe just getting into guitar though with as much as it is but I understand the app needs to make money
