I’ve been using Tempest now for over a year. Great app until a few days ago, and now the app locks up and will not load on either iPad or iPhone

The widgets display terribly and aren’t customizable (show me dewpoint). The biggest problem is display colors. On lock screen it’s a grey impossible to see. At certain times in nightstand mode it displays in a purple with black background (impossible to see). PLEASE FIX

The update works fine on my phone running iOS 27.2 but the app will not open on my iPad running iOS 15.8.8.

Could be a lot better. The data readings for your hardware sometimes get screwy and cannot be corrected which then makes the historical charts hard to read.

I like the app I just wish the rain numbers were bigger instead of the rain icon. I would like to see the rain numbers bigger especially since is live and also the live wind speed make it larger. We want to see the live content bigger.

Since upgrading to iOS27, I can no longer display the weather on my watch. It does not show in the list as an option and deleting the app and reinstalling did not resolve the issue.

Still loving my Tempest. Could you add a graph view of the stats you’re already tracking, like barometric pressure, humidity, etc? And if possible could the widgets show some of these other stats? Also tapping the widget to open the app seems to always crash/hang the first time since ios26.

I guess I have to use the online version!? The app worked for about 10 hours and now is stuck in a loop of telling me my station is locked to another account, but works fine online so I assume the app has some problems.

Can y’all add the rainfall rate instead of the day before’s rainfall So instead of it showing yesterday’s rainfall it would show the running rainfall rate like: 2.50 in/hr, so that I don’t have to go to the chart to look at the rainfall rate from a few minutes past. What I’m trying to say is keep the rainfall rate more current. For the wind speed, could y’all update the graphing system because it doesn’t want to show all of the current wind speed and direction, it just shows the one minute average of the recorded wind speeds and plots them under one minute’s speed like for example, at 1:00PM the wind “speed” was 10 mph where there was more wind and less wind than that. Next, the lightning detection feels and seems off, where it’ll record 5+ strikes in a second or two and then it’ll not be there and it’ll say the last strike was either 1-2 minutes ago. Lastly, the radar map will not let me zoom all the way in to my house, if I would try to do this it would push me back about 2-4 miles away, or in other words it would show the rain or snow for another place when I want to zoom into my house close up to see what the conditions are. Could y’all add a feature where it would show the next 1-3 hours radar instead of the previous 1-2 hours, so it would feel like a true past/future-cast. And add a hurricane track where we can see where a hurricane is going to hit. So on the next possible update y’all should focus on these things by making the system better and more user friendly. All in all it’s a great system, but with a few things/bugs to be updated. That’s why I am giving 4/5 stars.

The user interface is not particularly well-designed. They’ve built the app around the weather forecasts, but that’s not why I bought this weather station. I have plenty of other weather forecasting apps; I want to know what’s happening right now in my backyard and that should be front and center in the app. You can get to the current data, but it’s buried. Plus, sometimes I can’t tell whether a piece of data is from my station or from an internet source. For example, if it’s raining/storming the rain rate, lightening and wind should be dramatically front-and-center. Furthermore, the notifications need some additional intuitive controls. I ended up using ChatGPT to build me a different app. Thankfully, the data is available via the API.
