Nanit

We have LOVED this monitor. The app is so convenient and easy to use. I love that we can have multiple users at a time and I can control what access each user has easily. Great for babysitters, Nannie’s, grandparents watching baby, etc. I love that I can have the audio playing in the background of my phone. Nanit gives me optional tips on baby’s nap times among other things based on it tracking her sleep(which is optional of course.) I can speak through the camera if needed. It tells me when she actually falls asleep, wakes up, cries, there is motion, or someone attends her crib/picks her up. Each is a different notification!! I have not heard the breathing band but I have family who did and they loved it. These are my thoughts after using it for about 3 months. I can also remove the camera and take it with us on the go for travel. One last thing I appreciate is that it shows the temperate and humidity readings of her nursery in real time. It’s nice because her room unfortunately gets the worst air circulation. Truly worth every penny.

High tech app that allows me to see when my baby does certain things in the crib. Best part is it tracks his sleep for me! Only thing is I wish for the money it costs, it would come with a handheld monitor. It stinks that whenever I need someone to come over and babysit, I’d have to add them to my account (which costs $$$) If I had known that I wouldn’t have added this monitor to my registry. When I put the monitor live stream up on my computer to leave it open for my parents, the lag is up to one minute! Scary things could happen in that one minute 😬 (wifi is not an issue for that either)

I love our Nanit. It gives me a peace of mind and also has been reliable for us. I’ve used it from day one and will continue through toddler years!

We love being able to access our memories and keep our monitoring system safe. Nanit captured the first time our baby crawled, and I wouldn’t have been able to see that if it wasn’t for the memories. BUT for how expensive the actual monitor is, and the plans for it, I find it insane that you cannot change the sleep times in the app, for example, if my baby went to sleep 30 minutes earlier than his set “bedtime” than that whole stretch is marked as a nap and not part of his sleep, which effects the sleep data. If he sleeps in our bed for a few hours in the night, I can’t add that to his sleep time. I also get notifications way after the event happens sometimes, like I will put him to sleep in the crib and not get a motion notification until 5 minutes later, or get a cry notification 15 minutes after the fact.

Works really bad when needed the most. Could take 10+ mins to load the cam ( it’s been 15 mins and still nothing loaded). The quality has gotten so much worse over the years, seems like they can’t handle the load at this point.

My daughter is a little over 2 y/o and I fully believe Nanit is the only reason I have never co-slept. It gives me so much peace of mind allowing myself and my husband to get restful sleep and evening/morning relaxation.

We love our Nanit but the app has been glitching for the last few days. I have the background audio on and it will stop playing the audio a minute after leaving the app (it’s still open in the background). Then if I do Picture in Picture it also stops showing me anything and won’t have audio.

The camera is great! I just can't give it 5 stars because I hate that you have to pay the membership fee per camera. I think that's ridiculous and refuse to pay for two different plans. If I had known that was the case I would have gone with a different camera system.
