  • Flexstand is Flimsy

I have the Flexstand with the paid subscription. First the flexstand, the hardware is poorly designed in that it is barely connected to the base. It can fall off and smack your baby in the head with the lightest of the wind. Second, if you choose the Flexstand hardware as oppose to the more expensve wall mount and/or nanit stand, then you will NOT have access to certain features with the paid subscription. Third, the Activity and Insights features with the paid sub is just not accurate all the time. I would say it gets it right 70%. Overall, I would not rec this product to new parents
  • Fine App but Greedy Pricing

The app is pretty good (though an integration with HomeKit would be nice and some of the settings are a bit confusing). Nanit is expensive though. You will need a subscription to access many of the features on top of the camera.

I really like the Nanit monitor and app. I keep it on all night, my phone doesn’t get hot or glitch. I can see her so clearly. It’s great

I still can’t believe I stumbled across this at TJMaxx almost two years ago! It’s been the best find ever and I can’t wait to get another when we have another baby.

Love it! Awesome how I can check in on my son while I’m at work! Only thing sometimes is notify you when no one’s home maybe a ghost
  • Good overall

Good monitor system overall, but we experience a lot of connection issues. Also do not like having to pay for every feature, it’s very expensive and the monitor was already a big purchase. Feels a bit exploitative.

Videos take forever to process. If your power goes out, so does your ability to watch your baby. Am buying a vtech instead
  • Willing to make the product worse to get you to upgrade

I paid for a nanit monitor and once the free trial expired on the app they put a permanent promotion that overlays the video telling you to upgrade to insights. You can't dismiss it, and it usually overlays on top of my child so I can't actually see them very well (especially on split screen). Terrible user experience just to try to make an extra buck. Very disappointed. These monitors aren't cheap, I paid for a monitor, and then they make a worse experience because I didn't need to pay for all of the expensive extras. Very disappointed.

Such a great thing to have access on my phone at all times. I love all the data and access it gives me to help my kid develop and grow!
