  • One little fix would make this app perfect

I had my first baby March 2023 and have just had my second November 2024. Im now using this app for the second time and I’m disappointed to see my original gripe with this app still remains. I want to start by saying that I absolutely love this app. I like that the interface is dark as it helps not to wake baby at night as you track feeds and diapers. But my one issue stops me from giving a full 5 stars. My biggest complaint is the time it gives between feeds. Say if I start feeding at 11:00 and finish at 11:30. Then start back up again at 12:00. I HATE that the app says it’s been an hour since the last feed. It should say 30 minutes. This took me a while to even catch and I was constantly feeding my first baby sooner than I needed to, be by the length of the previous feeding session. I know that when you look at the reports it shows you the start and end time of each event, but then you have to sit there and figure out the time difference for yourself. Which defeats the purpose of the original feature of telling you when the last feed was. This one little thing would make the app significantly better and I’m not really sure why the last feed goes by the start time rather than the end time of feeding sessions.

I’ve been using this app since my son was born on St Patrick’s day. I track all my nursing , bottles feeding, pumping. Plus all his caregivers login if they have him and I know what he’s doing real time all day.
  • Great but needs improvement for multiple ios devices.

When multiple devices are connected on the same account (for example two mobile phones and 1 ipad). The widgets on ios are not updated promptly. My girlfriend stopped the sleep cycle, but it keeps on counting in the widget on my homescreen on my own mobile device. How can this be fixed?

I’m a first time mom, and this app has been a life saver. My mom brain is on over load, and huckleberry has been my best friend. It’s so convenient, and I’d be lost with out it.

My husband found this app the day we brought our baby home from the hospital and it has been a lifesaver! Baby is now 5 months and I still use this app daily. I struggle with ppa and keeping track of everything baby related helps me. Highly recommend for all new parents.

This app has changed my life! I’ve used it for 2 children and I don’t know how I would’ve managed nap times and adequate sleep for them without it! I will continue using it for as long as I have babies. Definitely worth paying for, for personalized sleep schedules and helpful insights. Thank you, Huckleberry!💜
  • Constant upselling

I end up with the paid version because I was so annoyed by the constant upselling but now they just keep popping up windows for the premium version. Not cool! I shouldn’t have to navigate away from ads when I’m trying to feed my baby in the middle of the night it is infuriating. I already paid you.

Overall I am happy with this app. It easily tracks sleep and is easy to use. I stopped tracking feedings and bowel movements after a few months but once we got into official naps, it was helpful to see wake window averages and expected sleep time!
  • Love the App, but the Widget? Not So Much

Huckleberry, you’ve nailed the features—tracking sleep, feedings, and activities is a lifesaver for this perpetually sleep-deprived parent. The app itself? Chef’s kiss. But the widget? Oh, the widget… It works about as reliably as my baby’s “sleep through the night” promise. I click the sleep timer expecting a seamless start, and instead, it opens the app like, “You do the rest, pal.” Thanks for nothing, widget. And let’s talk about activities like tummy time. I wasn’t thrilled to see that it wasn’t an option to add it to the widget… but atlas it would just be another button that doesn’t do what it’s supposed to. Maybe it’s a blessing in disguise—fewer frustrations in my day. Overall, I love Huckleberry and will keep using it (because, let’s face it, I need it to survive). But please, fix the widget so it can live up to the greatness of the app since we pay 9.99 a month for it! Until then, it’s back to opening the app manually, like it’s 2010.
