    I would’ve ranked the game higher if they didn’t put Flo from progressive into the game a while ago. If they do it again the rating will go to 1 star (because zero is not a possible rating)

  • Unplayable due to Loading Cycle

    I have been playing Boggle With Friends for years. But, I almost want to delete the app because it has become unstable has inconsistent playing times. Sometimes the app works like it’s supposed to. Other times, like today, it becomes stuck on an unending loading cycle and becomes unplayable. I love the game, but strongly dislike waiting on the app to load properly!

    The average 4.5 rating here must be manipulated. Go to the actual reviews and you'll see a string of 1 ands 2 stars. I like the game. But the ads are so numerous you just have to put yourself into a zone so it's not to get frustrated. The app also has bugs that are so frustrating I periodically stop playing because I just can't take it anymore. The worst one is that it cancels winning streaks arbitrarily, taking them to zero even if you've won, say, 40 or 50 games in a row. I've written to the Help function multiple times over many months but they don't fix it even though they keep saying they are "working on it." The helpline itself appears designed to prevent you from getting to a live person. The bot poses questions that are irrelevant and when you answer that you need to communicate with someone, there's no timely response for a long time, so that you can't wait for one. You have to remember to go back a day or two later to see if they responded, otherwise you get an automatic message saying that they "haven't heard from you" and they cancel your request. Even if you do catch a response in time it takes forever to get answers and the answers are always "we're working on it" though nothing ever changes or improves. Meanwhile, they charge a fortune to get the power ups you need to play at an advanced level. Awful.

    I’m tired of how slow and long it takes to open every movement. It also gets stuck and I have to shut it down and start over all the time and this has been going on for years but yet I continue to play. I’ve finally reached the point to quit if I don’t see an improvement in the next few weeks. Plus when you give us the event to play the hard letters, it’d be great if you put those letters in the game more often. I have to play several, several games to get the hard letters to show up. Just frustrating. I waste too much time because of these issues. But I love the game. So I’ll miss it if it doesn’t improve.

  • The ads are ridiculous

    I’ve been playing this game for years and will continue to play. However, I get so frustrated by all the ads and ongoing glitches that make it impossible to close the ad out. There’s an ad after every game and sometimes you have to watch the full thing, which can be a minute long. There are other times where it won’t even let you close out the ad and you have to restart your phone. I enjoy the game other than the ads, but because the ads are a regular part of playing, I am giving it fewer stars.

  • Game ruined after years of play by new shaking tiles feature

    I’ve played Boggle With Friends for years and it was one of my favorite word games and the best Boggle style game I’d found, but since upgrade my phone and iOS, it’s unplayable. The tiles shake while you drag over them and it is so distracting and disruptive, I can’t even play anymore. It is so frustrating and I miss it. This decision by the devs has ruined the game.

    The ads only make me frustrated and never want to play boggle. Every once in a while, I open it back up and see if it gets any better but nope. There isn’t even an option to pay. I don’t play games. And the one game I would play to relax… does just the opposite.

  • Great game, bad app

    The game is fun. The bummer is the app. It takes forever for the banner ads to load, which slows it down so much that you have to wait ridiculously long amounts of time to play. If they would fix that it would be much more enjoyable.

    Beware. The game cheats you out of awards. About a third of the time when you win a tournament, it only awards you half of the experience points. This makes it harder to earn rewards and level up.

  • Forcing to sign up for emails

    Forcing to accept “personalized ads” or “subscribe to emails” by having a NO button that does NOT WORK is their MO every 2-3 months. Freaking tired tactic, dudes. You’ll only force me to delete the app entirely, which means ZERO chance of me seeing AND ads you advertisers pay for.
