Connection Issues

1 year after purchasing the square stand…the IPad keeps losing connection with the stand 😣 we tried everything to troubleshoot the connection issue and nothing has worked. To use the stand, you must disconnect & reconnect the iPad for each transaction. The hardware does NOT stay connected to the Retail app.

I generally dislike Square and its approach to never fixing issues that persist in the software, sometimes for years after it’s brought to their attention. The technical support is virtually nonexistent.

Skim my transactions, block vendor/supplier payments because they are sure why and can’t fix it. Damage my business credit. Damage supplier relationship. Destroy sections of customer base through unfulfilled orders they blocked for no reason. They don’t know why they don’t care they can’t fix it and they won’t even try. Paid for 18 months for a website that didn’t work then I lost my wallet one day. My SQUARE DEBIT card was in it. The one I have automatic payments TO SQUARE coming from. Notified SQUARE that I need a new debit card. They allegedly send me a new one and issue a digital form. A couple days go by and they run the old card TWO DAYS before payment is due and shockingly it doesn’t go through. So, since SQUARE couldn’t charge me early for SQUARE on my SQUARE card that SQUARE cancelled and SQUARE reissued - they shut my system down at 2 in the afternoon with no communication whatsoever. Steer clear. I’m getting my inventory straightened up and bouncing the second I get a clean export.

Always glitches. Have to constantly update and hope there’s a newer version coming soon because everytime you open the app it lags or won’t connect at all. For some reason, when you pick shipping as a fulfillment option, it automatically grays out the invoice payment option which is super convenient (sarcasm - I need to be able to send invoices for shipped orders all the time). But if you do it as in store pickup and click the shipping option in invoice it doesn’t account for taxes of the state being delivered to. Square is the worst.

Amazing app a must have for businesses! Fees are somewhat reasonable but if they go any higher I will go elsewhere. So as long as it remains the same or better I’m Fully support,,

The new update is terrible for orders. Too complicated, annoying I have to unselect the vendor every time instead of showing items from all vendors.
