  • Decent app when it works

Iam reviewing my experience with the Free Service Plan option I chose to use.(Although,I still have questions about the text message service offered & haven’t been able to figure out how to set up &I’ve haven’t reached out to anyone for troubleshooting as of yet.) Anyhow, Upon initial download & setup last year, the app and my phone calls were syncing and worked fine. After months went by , I did notice a lot of calls were not showing up on the app as before, and I continue to have same problem. However more recently when I check the status of app it is working fine, than later on when checking again, I am logged in but my personal information is blank , record of my calls are non existent and app is prompting me to sign up for their monthly subscription. The free monthly services is manageable . But I’ve had no choice to delete the app and start all over again.

I downloaded this because I’m bombarded with these spam texts all the time, from random numbers saying hello and asking it Shelia or an America etc. this was supposed to stop that it doesn’t… it’s also supposed to block or screen spam calls, doesn’t really do that either. Literally the only thing I’ve been alerted to is that my wi-fi is safe and that won’t come up for days and then will randomly pop up dozens of times in a row over the course of a few hours. When I review, number or calls blocked 0, number of spam texts I didn’t get notifications for 0. This app doesn’t do a thing, I guess that’s why it’s free, thanks AT&T for rewarding your loyal customers with a free program to stop spam that is absolutely useless! It’s like one of those companies who wants to thank you for being with them by giving you a coupon for 10% off the fifth item after you paid full price for the other four. A complete waste…
  • Showing ads in notification

I got a notification that is an ad for their service, not a phone call notification. It said “Bank with Confidence Block Suspicious Websites.” You can’t be showing me ads for services without giving me the option to turn off the ad. This is a violation of Apple’s App Review Guidelines 4.5.4 “Push Notifications should not be used for promotions or direct marketing purposes unless customers have explicitly opted in to receive them via consent language displayed in your app’s UI, and you provide a method in your app for a user to opt out from receiving such messages. Abuse of these services may result in revocation of your privileges.” I have reported this to Apple.
  • Very Buggy ActiveArmor

What the heck is ActiveArmor doing???? It blocks good calls. It allows spam calls. It doesn’t block calls that you block and report as spam through the app. It doesn’t integrate with the phone’s blocked calls.
  • Blocks calls before it’s even downloaded (update)

I can’t believe AT&T has something that blocks your calls before it’s even installed on your device. I didn’t learn till recently it was even doing so until my own husband’s calls stopped coming thru randomly one day when he called repeatedly to get ahold of me and I was asleep. It has blocked his calls ever since. I have contacted AT&T and they say the number is not blocked and it’s not showing he’s even calling on their end. The calls show as flagged in this app and shows that he calls on the app but not on my phone. I have preformed all trouble shooting advice as well and his calls still aren’t reaching my phone but showing on the app. I’ve been dealing with this for two weeks and now have had to download text now for my husband to even reach me! I feel like if an app is going to block calls we should at least be informed of it or for it to come redownloaded on all AT&T phones. This has not only caused me to have communication problems but has also caused me to waste my time trying to fix and issue with a number I never blocked in the first place! 8/10/25 I have tried all the suggested tips you have listed. I’ve emailed the email address you listed twice and no response. I have called AT&T once where they have told me there should be no issue with the number. I’ve been into the store twice where they have told me twice now it should go thru and still is not! This problem has been going on for a month now! Can some please fix this!!!!!! I’ve been with AT&T for years and this is made us considering leaving due to this issue. My third party app TextNow has been working great since this problem started so my husband and I can still communicate.

    Terrible customer service and support
  • SMS filter is worthless

The SMS filter is pointless, nothing ever gets marked as spam. The built in iOS 26 filter is better and neither match a free app.
  • Pathetic

The app blocks calls from AT&T phone delivery. Ridiculous. And scammers call you freely. Good job, guys. Keep your well-earned one star
  • DOESNT EVEN WORK

I have AT&T and it was been the biggest regret! I switched from Verizon and that was the dumbest thing I could’ve done. Because Verizon has a call filter app that works perfect! I can’t even get into this app.. and I’ve had servers for some time now..
