I never leave reviews, but when I saw all the negative reviews I had too. Some People are so emotional nowadays it's wild! Yes there are some bugs, I get that. But maybe it's not just the app that's the issue. I'm using the app on an iPhone 15 pro max and I've used this app for at least 2-3 years. I've had tiny bugs, not any more than I've had with even top tier apps... like Crunchyroll or YouTube.. I use it because they have titles Crunchyroll does not. And I've been able too watch my anime with no major issues. Come on people, quit being so emotional and make sure YOUR device and connection are good.

The user experience is terrible. If I download episodes, I can’t see the names of the shows. It is a bunch of random episodes from different titles. This should be very easy to develop. If you play one offline, it will randomly play another show in the order it was downloaded. History doesn’t show the name of the anime’s either, just the episode title. At this point, I don’t even know what shows I am watching and I will cancel the subscription all together. Too bad because there are some good anime’s in it.

This app is garbage. All the available engineers and AI coding tools out there and it’s still buggy as hell. I close the app, it keeps playing somehow. The moment a show itself throws a stat screen or some other “window message” the subtitles no longer work. From a UX perspective, they still don’t have the good sense to have plain text titles under the show thumbnails. It’s for sure amateur hour. If it weren’t for a couple titles in their library I’d ditch it, and that’s only gonna be the case for so long, given today’s climate and a certain resurgence.

The app consistently logged me out and forces me through a website only login process. The selection of anime is shallow at best. And even though I am currently subscribing to the service (according to Apple), the app itself keeps telling me that I’m not. There are some titles that I can’t find anywhere else which is the only reason I keep coming back to this app. Please fix it or sell it to somebody who will.

Just want to watch one show and doesn’t let me put my card in saying unknown error meanwhile my subscriptions saying I signed up/already put my card on but it doesn’t work? At least I got the free trial and didn’t get charged but it’s a shame.

The dubbing sucks. It will randomly cut out when a large amount of information is brought up in the anime, it then doesn’t automatically restart. You can sometimes rewind and the dubbing will start again, but then the app will almost always crash. I’ve used the app for a couple of years now and it’s something that’s never been fixed despite how often the issue is brought up. Id it wasn’t for the fact that some anime are HiDive exclusive I wouldn’t even bother with it.

First it started off to where I’m paying monthly subscription without being able to watch anything much less log in that took you guys months to fix. Now subtitles and new releases take forever for you guys to upload with subtitles disappearing not even 3 minutes in like do better.

whoever designed this UI deserves to be fire. Genuinely one of the most difficult apps to get around, I am astonished that you guys in Paramount somehow still make money

Not only do subtitles not work when certain screens pop up but there’s 5 minutes straight of no sub titles on new releases. This seems to be a new issue, not sure if you’re trying to use AI instead of people but need to go through and fix a lot of recent animes on here

Yes, the streaming app does offer different series to watch vs other anime streaming services, which is good. But the fact that it takes them hours on end to release new episodes after their “supposed” release time to the fact that subtitles will cut out after several minutes of watching whether it be subbed or dubbed is raising doubts about the quality
