Description

MySudo is the original all-in-one privacy app that lets you protect your information, secure your chat, and organize your life. PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION with secure digital identities called Sudos, each with its own phone, email, handle, private browser, and virtual card. Anywhere you’d normally use your personal phone number, email or credit card, use your Sudo ones instead. Sign up for deals and discounts, book rental cars and hotel rooms, pay for concerts or a coffee—all without giving away your personal information. SECURE YOUR CHAT with end-to-end encrypted calls, texts and emails between MySudo users via your Sudo handle—or communicate standard outside the app with everyone else. Your Sudo phone and email work just like your personal ones AND they protect you from spam and scams. ORGANIZE YOUR LIFE with multiple Sudo digital identities, each with a different purpose. Depending on your plan, you can have up to 9 Sudos, so you can shop with a Sudo, date with a Sudo, order food with a Sudo, sell secondhand stuff with a Sudo, live with a Sudo. What happens in a Sudo stays in the Sudo, so your information is safe and organized. == the good == The service itself is great. Does what it says on the tin. It’s a great way to compartmentalize communications. Keeping multiple devices in sync is awesome. Recommended by Michael Bazzel. If he trusts them, then so do I. Fair pricing. == the bad == Over the last year or so it seems like performance has taken a hit. It was never a performant application but it feels *so* slow sometimes to load a few new messages. The UX keeps getting worse. Horizontal scrolling of Sudos on the Home tab means I basically avoid it. Changing Sudos requires three taps and sometimes scrolling. I appreciate that it’s trying to be some sort of central privacy hub but, personally, I find it best for VOIP numbers. Email addresses and virtual cards have better and more focused options. They’re both pretty old features at this point but still not a fan of scope creep. The (not so recently) refreshed icons for Sudos are pretty abhorrent corporate art. They also aren’t all that helpful as representative icons. Choosing from a pirate, lizard, bird, or varying humans doesn’t really represent how I compartmentalize.
  • Excessive promotional notifications

Signed up for an account. Subscribed. Now I’m paying for a sub already but continue to receive excessive promotional/usage “tips” with no clear opt out notification. Frustrating experience.

Please am not here for complaining I just want to restore my account I don’t know how I mistakenly sent email to the company to delete my account permanently and since then I can’t even make use of it on this phone help me out
  • Great privacy, better navigation

I’m very happy for this company and I’ve been very happy with the app as a phone. I do find I wish that the navigation was smoother. For example, I choose a profile, then I have to click at least one more button to get into either the phone or the text that I want to send. Once I choose a profile, it should open into my last place, either the phone or messages. I usually don’t give reviews, but I do like the app and you clicked me here so here you go!
  • Too many popups

This was recommended for privacy and indeed looks great. However I’m not renewing for now because it immediate started showing pop up notifications, and there’s no way to limit that without turning off all notifications. It is cool that it comes with other services like anonymous credit cards and messaging, but it’s annoying that you have to complete all fields to just use the phone number component. It’s cool that it has so many articles but I don’t want to get notifications about them. So I shut off notifications and canceled for now. For $1.99 / month it’s a great price for one number, so maybe I’ll renew later.
  • Only a few countries are supported

Please read if your country is supported before subscribing, as somehow it allowed me to create an account and pay for a subscription, but some minutes later after paying, they locked my account stating that my country wasn’t supported and all sales were final.

I so enjoy this app thus far! Even the free subscription has multiple features. I’m thinking very hard about upgrading to a paid subscription! Thanks!
  • Doesn’t Accept Valid ID

They refuse to accept Passport as valid ID. A passport has more authority than any other ID. I cannot use the virtual card features & I am very disappointed.
