I’ve been using MySudo for years. Progressively the quality has suffered over time, where security does not appear to be the focus, perhaps due to changes in ownership. I switched carriers recently, and forwarded my new number to a friend using the application (IPhone—> Android). Within minutes I started receiving a flood of calls every 5 minutes. All calls were from my area code. It was near midnight, and I hadn’t even setup my voicemail. This all happened in the wake of the recent warning from the FBI concerning the massive hack by the Chinese. Obviously, I’ll be changing my number, as I’m still receiving calls by the hour. I’m left to conclude the app isn’t secure, and has been compromised. I’ll be switching to Signal, to see if it’s any better.

10-4. If it had been explained more clearly, there would have been no problem on my end. I won’t try anymore.

New interface is horrible. How do I go back the prior one? I can’t figure out to switch sudos, why wouldn’t it be in the top left where it shows the current sudo? My contacts are gone , how do I find it? I don’t even see how to send a message to support, I sent an email somewhere that got returned. Before there was an easy drop-down to open a ticket. It’s actually impossible to switch sudos. I have to go to the main page first and then there is a “quick access” section for each sudo but when I click on it it takes me to that sudo’s settings. When I go back out the sudo has not changed! Older reviews : Using MySudo has been an up and down experience. After a glaring issue with calls not going through on several models of iPhone which took several months to fix last year, I have experienced just one outage lasting a few hours which I’m reasonably sure was on their end as another reviewer mentioned the same thing at the same time. On the other hand, I understand their difficulty in troubleshooting it since there are many variables involved. I downloaded a few other VoIP apps to test so that I can be absolutely sure it is not an issue on my device in case it happens again, but I wouldn’t recommend MySudo for mission-critical applications, at least not yet. There are some key features missing, like group texting and porting numbers. You have to be really sure about a phone app before using it since you can’t port out your number, and the more ppl you give your number to, the harder it becomes. Backup and restore features work well. There was an issue with all anonymous calls going straight to voicemail (which was apparently an intentional decision on their end) which took close to a year to fix (from when I started using it). Development timeline seems slow but they do eventually get to things. Same with customer service. I do feel they spent too much time on nifty features like the browser and virtual cards instead of focusing on essential things like calls and texting. But as they keep making improvements I expect MySudo to continue to get better. I tested a large number of other VoIP apps a year ago and MySudo was toward the top in terms of reliability.

I used this when it started out. With UK using KYC and we see able to bypass even know .As I move things around and tighten security I will come back. It can be better in terms of not tracking what users are searching. VOIP connects to your cellphone unless you configure call forwarding with VPN disabled location and cell tower “skipping”. That is what I call it. The ability to use TOR while using the app to key. Also maybe folders for bookmarks for research. Also letting us see who is attempting to track us. I was able to see using Brave through the app and using safari cookies, pixels. Google is changing up their tracking using canvas and AI. I am intrigued to see how MY SUDO is handling this new tracking. Screen resolution- option in the app to change resolution is important. I will see you again soon. Take care.
