I just got my 2nd John boat that has 20 hp moved from my 1 with 4.5 hp and I wanted a gps on my phone for my boat for free and I thought this app said free but when I got in it said *in mocking voice* you must pay blah blah blah for a month or use the free trial blah blah blah don’t recommend this for people that want a free gps Btw I would give this 0 stars

Wavve gives me the confidence to explore. I have a 20ft bayliner vr5. This app and the feature to plan on the website and have it transferred to my phone is priceless. My wife and I explored almost 100 miles yesterday 10/18/2025 of the Bay Area Delta. We hit a couple boat up bars and restaurants and even did a little trolling. Only caught a buzz tho! Best app ever!!!

Charged for this app that I’m unable to use and unable to cancel, so I’ve been charged for the second time and am unable to cancel app

I have tried numerous times to save friends ports, home port, and routes. Nothing will save. Leave the app and return it’s all gone. Worthless at this point

I subscribed to this in Hope that it would assist me in ICW routing through the canals. That does not seem to be the case so attempted the same thing with navionics and that works well. Contacted them and was told that they have challenges with what I want to do and just put in several waypoints to try to use it. That is not autorouting and to be honest I don’t find anything about this app to be better to where it is useful for boaters. It works for getting depths but not accurate really considering I tested its readings with my depth gauge and off. Can not find the value of this app for the money I pay so will be cancelling my subscription and don’t recommend this app for anyone seriously wanting to travel with their boat.

Can’t see if my region is covered without subscribing. I get there is a trial, but this seems unfair.

Inaccurate charts. Nearly hit huge rocks just simply not listed in Newport area

Great app, but given the availability of stereos and screens that run carplay, it would be very useful to have a larger screen view - especially if you are marketing it as "Google Maps for boaters" - fifth star if you add the feature. Otherwise it is a useful app.

I subscribed to this app to use it as my primary nav for sailing in the North Channel of Lake Huron. Logged in, downloaded maps, tested offline access using airplane mode…everything looked great. But I laboriously screen captured and printed paper charts for the Canadian waters as a backup. So glad I did. We got out on the water in Ontario with zero mobile signal. Opened the app to help us navigate the incredibly shoal-infested waters. And nothing. Just a login screen. The app had logged me out. And without mobile signal I could not log in. Completely bricked. The trip was saved by the paper charts. All I can say is do not depend on this app. It constantly logs you out. I opened it again today at home on WiFi…logged out again. Terrible, dangerous design pattern for an app of this type.
