    I was initially excited about trying out Philo, as I had heard good things about it. However, my experience took a disappointing turn when I downloaded another app on my phone. To my surprise, Philo charged me their subscription fee before the seven-day trial period had ended. This was frustrating, especially since I was still exploring the service and hadn’t fully evaluated its value yet. Moreover, I noticed that the subscription fee had increased recently, despite there not being any significant changes or improvements to their content lineup. This left me feeling that I was not getting the quality or quantity I had expected for the price. Overall, I would describe Philo as an app that still has a way to go before it can truly compete in this space. It feels incomplete and not quite ready for primetime, which is unfortunate given its potential.

    My card was charged instead of signing up and receiving a free trial. The app does not allow refunds through Apple. Giving it 2 stars because it did have the seasons of the show I wanted to watch. I didn’t have many ads.

    This app is great except for skipping 4-5 scenes per movies to add in commercials.

    The app doesn’t offer ALL episodes and seasons of ALL shows! The ads are longer than the actual shows! It’s not worth $28. Better off buying a firestick! 7 day trial depends on the time of day trial was started. Customer service doesn’t include U S Representatives. You might have to call several times before reaching someone who comprehends you.

    This app is a joke. Repeated ads, constantly crashing, can’t fast forward or rewind. Philo you should be ashamed. Do better. When you’re worse than peacock, you should be embarrassed.
