    So I get locked into a whole year of this app and it doesn’t even have Picture in Picture support for iPhone. Most of the “masterclasses” I want to watch need video and I need to use PIP for that.

    Got the subscription as a gift and was excited. When I redeemed it realized it was not of any interest to me. Contacted support because it said if you not satisfied within 30 days you get refund,I get response that because I redeemed it I would not be able to get it which doesn’t make sense to me. I feel that it should have been mentioned in the email . Also if anything it should be the same rules for the person giving and receiving the gift. Now my daughter is out of money and I have a @white elephant” gift

    I can’t watch a single master class in order because the app video freezes. Even when casting or watching directly on my phone. I love the class content but can’t get through any of it cause of the tech errors and bugs

  • Useless and shady

    First the content is fluffy, nothing deep or meaningful, you get the same value by watching YouTube or listen to a podcast with any of these “masters”. Second. They have a really shady account management… if you want to cancel or stop the auto renewal is really hard, they don’t make it intuitive. You have to go to their Helpdesk and they push back saying they cannot refund… if you are in the same boat as I was and reading this, push harder and eventually you’ll get it. Really shady org.

    The UI/UX is truly terrible, its nearly imposible for me to pickup where I left off my lesson, the app just encourages me to start new ones. Aside from Chris Voss’ lesson, the content is heavily mediocre. You dont learn anything, you just hear anecdotes from the supposed teacher. Additionally, there is currently a bug that makes downloaded content impossible to access. Such a scam.

    This is pricing out people who do not want to drop $200 for a whole year. Why can’t you do monthly options??? Please consider the difficult economic times.

  • Bug with google login

    I created my account with Google. When I attempt to sign in that way with the app, the in-app browser closes immediately. This is on the latest iPhone, iOS, etc. This makes the app literally unusable, and I can’t reset my password since it’s a google login. Refund?

    You will not get a courtesy email that you are about to renew. It just happens and then they have a no refund policy on renewals.

  • Classes are really good. The mobile app has room for improvement.

    The app doesn’t sync well across devices. For example, let’s say I enroll in a class that has 10 lessons. I complete the first 5 lessons on my laptop and the last 5 on my phone/mobile. Masterclass will not count this class as completed. On my mobile, only the last 5 classes will be completed. I now have to run the first 5 on my phone to get it marked as completed. This is annoying. Please fix this.

    I used to be able to cast the app to my tv, but it’s no longer compatible for some reason leaving me to only be able to watch it on my phone.
