  • Logging in all the time

    I thought I needed to log in each time the app updated, which was ridiculous. Now I realize the app hasn’t updated for a month, but I have needed to log in twice since the most recent update. I don’t need to log into other apps on my phone, yet this app can’t seem to hold my info. It’s annoying.

    I’ve cancelled my account because of the obligation of a $30 overnight fee no matter what the host site is like(ie someone’s front yard. However, HH still charged me thru. auto renew. And there is basically no Service!

    I’m trying to use the app on an iPad and an iPhone, but the words don’t fit in the buttons, and things don’t ‘fit’ right. It’s frustrating as I have to guess what they say. Please fix this. When I’m on the road and need to check and update my travel, I need to access from these devices.

  • Map part of the application needs updated to include mileage and time

    The mapping needs updating to make it easier for tracking. Mileage and time driven from starting point to completion of trip and each stay. Otherwise users have to use a different app also to plan their trip. Frustrated

  • No bad experiences!

    We have met a lot of great hosts and wonderful people. After driving all day or part of the day it is especially relaxing to stop at a winery or brew pub/tavern, park, have a beer or glass of wine, meal and go to bed. Ready to go the next day. Other venues like museums, etc are great too. Will be leaving in a few days for 2000 plus miles heading back home.

    Look, I’d recommend Harvest Hosts to all my friends and family. But they have a big problem with this app and their messages. They like to send unnecessary reminders at 5am!!!Yes, you heard that correctly. If I want to get notifications from a host, I must leave all notifications on. And instead of having different categories of notifications to turn off or on, it’s “all or nothing”. Then, every morning they like to send out that 5am reminder to review a property you stayed at!!?! This is crazy guys. I don’t want to be bothered at 5am. Why are you doing this? Make the reminder time specific to someone’s region. If you can’t do that, then change the time to 10am PT.

    I love the Harvest Host concept and process. Booking was easy and communication with the hosts is great. However, the feedback process regarding the stay needs improvement.
