After so long they decided to split chapters up and relock them so you have to pay more and good luck getting them unlocked. It has happened with four books I have read now.

Don’t put any money into this app.
I did the 1 week free trial and tried to cancel. The app said it will take 30 days to cancel after the request. It did not say that when starting the free trial. Well, 30 days came and went and they are still charging me. I “cancelled” again and was messaged it will take another 30 days. So 8 weeks of $14.99 on what was supposed to be a free trial. Now I am fighting them and my credit card company to get them to stop charging me. Do not subscribe for ANY reason.

I am writing to express my growing frustration with a recurring issue on your platform. Several books I’ve purchased have been split into multiple parts, and I’ve been charged again for chapters. When you write to customer service, they do not respond. It is very disheartening especially after spending so much money on coins to purchase the stories in the first place.

They are a pay by chapter reading app. But when a book is getting lots of reading they split the chapters to get more money from customers even the chapters the customers have already bought.
Greedy and inconsistent

I love reading certain authors, and occasionally they will have exclusive stories to certain apps. Well, on my first story read on this app (with all chapters purchased), they split the chapters and then lock chapters up again. I’m sorry, that is shady and not fair at all to the authors. From what I understand, this has happened with several books too. I will keep reading for the one author, but once the contract is up, I won’t use this app or the sister apps again. Completely wrong and dishonest….do better. And customer service won’t get back to you either. Hence the 1 star review.
Locking paid chapters

I have been using this app for years. Now they are taking pretty much every book I previously paid for with coins and are locking the chapters and splitting previously unlocked chapters in half and locking them. It’s also hard to get them to fix it on WhatsApp. I’m leaving this platform once all my coins are gone.

I am so tired of IReader messing with books I am already reading. They have done it multiple times, I am in the middle of a book, and they suddenly split the chapters so many I have already read are locked again. To me that is a blatant money grab… I have contacted the “help” desk the way they instructed and get no response!

iReader is splitting chapters for stories that I had already paid for and then taking them away and making us pay for them again, we have been trying to contact support but they have been ignoring us and not fixing the issue
