This app is the dumbest creation ever , yes I’m only 12 years old but I have an opinion on this. I used to be very comfortable with my family before this but now I’m not so much because my mom abuses her powers with this app. It is a waste of money and stupid because what are you going to do when I’m 18? Throw it away? My mom wasted $100 on this stupid circle box just so she could turn on and off my internet 😐. I used to talk to her a lot about my life but not anymore because I’m just asking for more internet so I can socialize with my friends because I can only text my friends because my mom homeschools me *shocker* and I can’t talk to any of my real friends in person so I FaceTime and text but I can’t do that with circle anymore. Don’t get this for your child, it is stupid and if you want your child to have a good relationship with you then stay away from this app

I’m a teenager and I don’t mind having this app because my mom only uses it to see how much time I spend on my phone instead of setting limits for me. The main problem we had was that with the VPN, which you can’t use the app without, it kept randomly switching YouTube to restricted mode. It locked it so I wasn’t able to switch restricted mode which sucked because me and my mom agreed that it was fine without restricted mode. We weren’t sure what the problem was at first but we tried everything from deleting YouTube, signing out, shutting of my phone, but when we decided to try to delete the VPN, the problem was finally fixed. I’d love to keep using this app because it’s much better than the other screen time apps out there, but this problem makes it very hard.
  • Just because I’m 10, doesn’t mean I have a voice in life.

I am considered mature for my age, so do I really need this? Now, I may be young, but should that really matter? No. I am a tween (10-12) Anyways, to the review. (Note that this takes inspiration from other reviews.) When my parents downloaded this, I thought it was no big deal because all it does is limit my screen time. No big deal? Right? Nope. (1. It makes my device laggy: I have a daily habit of reading reviews and going on fandoms/wikis, but sometimes when I play music while doing that, it freezes or crashes. (2. (No title): I now stay up in my room more because of this, watching Netflix. Also my parents pause me if I’m being “sAssY” like bruh, All I was doing was eating dinner, then my dad pauses me for no reason at all. (3. A lot of times, the ‘rewards’ don’t work: So one time, I was still 9, my dad gave me a late bedtime (2:00 am I think) and it went through at first, but it paused, went through, repeat. Just because we’re kids doesn’t mean we have a voice in this world.

I got this app 1 year ago ever since I got a new phone. My mom thinks it’s healthy even though I feel like I’m unprivileged. I like to feel like I’m free and not on a time limit until I have no internet connection. I’m a teen and I feel like I should not have a limit on my phone, I’m pretty sure this app is for kids 1-10? Not 11-18.

Hi, I was wondering, if the person your limiting the time to deletes the app… what then? A notification? I need to know if I can trust it on my child’s phone. Thank you.

Hi. I’m a 10 year old girl, and my dad got this app for me. He makes my time limit 4 hours a day, which isn’t so bad. I have to do chores to earn time. If your parents don’t even give you an hour and you can’t earn anymore time then that’s very wrong. Circle doesn’t invade all your privacy I guess, like your texts and stuff. But your parents can see your history and all the links you go to. Which isn’t so so bad! If you aren’t gonna have your child only use like their electronic for 3 hours, and not be able to earn more time then don’t get this app. If you let them earn time and make their phone turn off at like 10:30 (depending on their age) and turn on at let’s say 6:00, that’s fine. But other then that, this app is frustrating but it has helped me from my phone addiction. :)

I’m seriously disappointed with this App. We’ve 2 10-year olds and 4 adults in the house and apparey 36 unknown devices. It will work with Iphones but even the named kindles are unknown devices. Chromebooks don’t show up any differently than kindles with the exception of two of our 6 showing up as Amazon devices. I’ve been trying to identify devices using the Pause function to no avail. Tried downloading the Circle App on the Chromebooks only to get a qA code that results in nothing on web search. Argh!

my children are gonna be raised responsible and i will trust and believe that they are doing good. in my option this is over the top. kids should be trusted can have certain boundaries but this app is over the top. this is just stupid that someone took the time to make kids feel so restricted. this app should taken down.
