I’m not an online reviewer and especially not of apps (I legitimately don’t think I have ever reviewed one before) but this app deserves the time spent reviewing. User Experience- Super easy to set up and understand from the get go. Link your accounts, review your recent purchases (the more you do the more accurate it is in the future) and go. You can see everything from checking accounts and credit cards to investments and real estate (I don’t own a home so I don’t know what this feature specifically entails). Very seamless and a simple refresh makes it essentially real time. Investments-Copilot pulls up your stocks that you own and shows how they look for the day. To note: I don’t own hardly any individual stocks so I’m not sure how many the app will show at a time. Again, refresh and it’s basically real time which I love. You can also see all of your investment accounts and see how they are performing. Transactions-If you spend some time going through your transactions and accurately setting them in the categories this becomes so seamless. The app will do this automatically with about 80-90% accuracy but I’m a nut and I wanted to see it all broken down in the budgets to the penny. I can now and it takes almost no configuration. It just does its thing. Categories-One of my favorite features, especially considering how simple it is. You can create categories that encapsulates a “genre” essentially with a combined budget. Take “Food & Drink”; you can have an overall budget of however much you want for both groceries and restaurants. It creates the flexibility that life demands at times. You can also create your own categories for whatever you like. This is so intuitive to me and a breeze to use. Overall I love the experience. I love that they are adding new features, and make it so easy to budget. This is the budgeting app that I’ve always hoped for and one that keeps on improving. Great job to the dev team that created this, frankly you’ve saved me thousands of dollars at this moment and it was so simple to do.
  • Does not cover my banks

I was finally able to get a refund. It was more an issue with the App Store than the app itself. I actually liked the app other than it can only be used on Apple devices and not across platforms. Also, if you use a credit union, Carmax, and several other institutions the accounts can’t be linked. Overall though it was the best looking app with the best auto categorize system I found. Updated from: There is apparently no way to cancel this app. I have went through all their instructions to cancel a week in advance and they still charged my credit card. DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!!!!

I’m so happy with it! I was looking for something like this for ages. Keeps track of everything, and gives you chance of customizing everything within it. Very proud of the Chilean guy that came up with it. 😎 I gladly pay the fee for service, because I have all the information within my grasp. The only downside, although it is difficult to make it better, is that you need to input all of your information and verify it for all your accounts. These takes time, but it’s totally worth it. Set aside probably a whole morning to get the app running filling it with all the information needed. After that, your’e good to go,! Enjoy all your information daily!

I used this app during my trial and decided not to use the app because I will not be paying someone to track my money. Upon canceling subscription; I have not been able to stop the charges being made to my card. I spoke with an agent that claimed the issue was fixed but I have receipts of $100+ trying to charge my card EVERY WEEK. The app is not working to resolve this issue nor is there someone available to resolve this issue. What are you going to do about that CEO or Tech Team for COPILOT

Update: Apr 27 2025, still no fix. it’s been 6 months. Decent app for tracking and I found it pretty useful until I realized it hasn't pulled latest E-Trade data since October 2024, and does not let me add new wells Fargo credit cards.
  • Best on iPhone

Two meanings. This is probably the best budgeting app for iPhone owners and the best platform for Copilot Money is the iPhone.

Just another stupid app that promises so much and runs you through a whole bunch of steps just to hit you with a fee at the end.
  • Does not auto categorize

I’ve had this app for 3 months and there’s only one thing I wanted it to do. I want to be able to categorize transactions automatically. This app is very very bad at that. At 3 months I still need to manually change each transaction. I canceled because it doesn’t do the most basic thing it’s supposed to do. Wave is not very good at this but 100X better than this app. I don’t understand how an app like like this is getting 5 stars ratings if the auto categorization is only 10% accurate.
  • I didn’t realize I’d still need to be the pilot

I’ll just make a few rules and manually identify all my recurring charges, since it missed them — mortgage, internet, iCloud, pest control, VPN, Spotify, ChatGPT, fixed biweekly investments… okay, all set. Alright, how we doin? Show me the money! Oh. There’s no labels on these plots. Not a single axis. No gridlines or tick marks. Just vibes. Cash Flow, how we doin? Two numbers: -$3k and +$22k. Honestly, this app matches my exact pace for not wanting to care about finances: vague, chaotic, and somehow still optimistic.
