  • Takes Some Effort, but It's Well Worth It

    I switched to Copilot as a part of The Great Mint Migration. Since it was a new interface (started with the iOS app before realizing I could pull it down on the Mac as well), it did take some time to get up to speed. Once I got it figured out (which the Mac app was easier to work for things like creating and editing budget groups for example), all was good and I'm hooked. My ONLY gripe is that it doesn't sync pending transactions, so there's about a 24 hour delay (longer over the weekend) where my spending isn't really real time. Other than that, I'm glad I downloaded it and I check it daily.

    My wife and I use it as a married totally joint finance couple. It’s a great alternative to mint and has almost everything we need. Had a little trouble connecting some lesser known institutions to track accounts (if you have an Amex savings account it’s currently not showing… also CAHP). The only two things I wish the app had would be sinking funds & the ability to manually alter the budget for the month as opposed to waiting for income and relying on the automatic budget it forces you into. Overall I’m very happy.

    Some nice functionality but the UI requires far too many interactions with lots of tiny, unintuitive controls to accomplish common tasks which should be simple. The phrase “too clever by half” comes to mind.

    Try copilot since mint is gone. For just one week, i love it. It is wonderful and gives more info than Mint. Price is a bit steep but you pay for what you get. I hope you can add apple watch support soon and also credit score. Thanks

    We’ve been long time users but everything has gone downhill ever since their last price increase. Support has slowed down, more features are broken and it just seems like they have given up. Uninstalled.

  • Add Income Review to “Categories”

    I really LOVE this app and I want to give it a 5 but I really need to be able to see my income at the top under “Categories.” They have income review under “Dashboard” and “Transactions” but not under “Categories.” It’s small, but would be a big help & change. I came over from Mint after years at EveryDollar. Will likely go back to EveryDollar in 1-2 months if they don’t make the change. Great functionalities otherwise. Thank you!

    Really enjoying using this. I've finally taken soe time to learn the budgeting and category section and had a great time going through previous transactions and tagging them properly. Looking forward to seeing how this expands and grows over time. Performs great on my iPhone 14 Pro Max, and my M2 Max Macbook Pro. Hoping for an iPad app one day.

  • Performance is a non-starter

    The app is beautiful and I've been a fan since the iOS app initially launched, but man, the mac app performance is just abysmal. I cannot select multiple transactions almost at ALL. My workflow is reviewing my transactions from credit cards and venmo every month, about 8 CC's. I cannot keep my attention focused on this app long enough amidst the crashes and hangs, unless this is addressed soon I'll have to find something else before my subscription renews.
