Some work needs to be done by the programmers in the lists of neighborhoods, and in the list of cuisines. Neighborhoods: they should be tied to the city so that if the app knows I’m in New York City it should not be bringing up all the neighborhoods from around the world that I have to scroll through just to get to the upper west side in addition on neighborhoods, there are way too many duplicates. It should be a basically finite list of neighborhoods rather than having to find all the duplicates… There should not be a Greenwich village and a south village that will confuse people. Cuisines: these need to be simplified I should not have to scroll through a list of 200 cuisines just to make sure I’ve caught all the American restaurants for example

You can’t proceed through setting up your profile without inviting 4 people. Continue is greyed out. From someone who works for a software company, gross guys. Rapid uninstall.

I recently have more fun on Beli than Pinterest or Instagram!! I’m a big foodie and sharing my meals and recommendations brings me so much joy. The ratings are very accurate and honestly I just love that I have a list for everywhere I have tried. Makes it so easy to remember what to reorder or try at restaurants.

I love the app’s concept but the UI is so bad that I can see people quickly finding the app unaesthetic and getting bored of it. For an app like this, the UI is incredibly important—if it’s mid, people will get bored of the app quickly. I already am, honestly.

I like reviewing all the restaurants but they need to add more categories as to what kind of food ie: breakfast lunch and dinner instead of just restaurant and cafes

If you just use as a food journal it’s great. But it’s almost impossible to use for searching restaurants to eat at because you can’t search for new places using the map, only your existing restaurants.

I love food because it’s an art that can be shared. And here is another way food can bring people together. After years of saving restaurants and writing reviews on Google maps here’s an app that uses that info to help me find and share finds! Thank you Beli

Game changer of an app. Love seeing where my friends go, even if we don’t agree on our favorite spots it’s a great conversation starter. No more bot reviews or places reviewing themselves, so that everything is a 4.5 star. Helps me be in the know for new and hidden gem places!

Really like the app for the most part but wish I had more say in the rankings and that it wasn’t automatic. It’s hard to rate restaurants against each other when they have complete different vibes and reasons for going.

This app has mostly been great, but it is so infuriating how they lock even the most basic features behind inviting a certain number of users and require you to add text to any image you upload. I’ve been using this app for about a year but if this continues on, I very well might uninstall it soon.
