Would like to be able to navigate away from the app and maintain a kick count session. Would also like to be able to edit previous sessions.

Why in the world would I spend money on an app to count baby kicks, I already have to spend a fortune for these babies and yet companies still feel the need to charge for a tiny little app. Ridiculous.
  • Not worth the $5

This app is not worth the $5 you have to pay to actually make it usable. The app does not track time in the background so if you have to navigate out of the screen for any reason (for instance, responding to a text when you’re doing kick counting), the time will pause until you’re back in the app, which makes it pretty ineffective. This doesn’t give any advantage over a free app in my opinion.

I bought this for kick counting and later on leave the screen it stops timing until you return plus it times out very quickly. contractions. The main issue is that every time you

I like that this app has both a contraction tracker & kick counter. However, it’s annoying not being able to delete or edit accidental clicks, or adjust the timer when I get distracted and forget to stop the timer. For $5 I wish I had the ability to do that. I also noticed that the kick counter stops counting up the time if you switch to a different app temporarily. I’ve had to respond to a text in the middle of counting and when I returned it kept the clock right where I was at before. I also wish this app allowed you to count kicks and time contractions at the same time. You have to stop your kick session to go to the contraction tab. If those things were changed, I’d totally recommend this app to a friend... but for now I would not.
  • Wish it had more to it...

Just paid for the app thinking it might give me some insights on fetal movement, but it’s simply just a kick counter.

Paid $4.99 for the session to not run in the background. Disappointed. Gave it 3 stars because it has the kick counts and contraction feature in one app. But having a 10 minute session only record as 2 minutes because the app doesn’t run in the background is disappointing, especially if you have to multitask and you paid to use the feature. It also doesn’t allow me to edit the session to correct it so now my information recorded on the app is untrue.

As others noted, the kick counter pauses when your phone goes to sleep, or you navigate out of the app. It picks back up when you reopen. Disappointed to have paid for this app when it doesn’t properly count the kicks. I tried to send feedback but nothing pops up when I click feedback.
  • Timer doesn’t continue

Just entered my 3rd trimester, so I wanted to get a kick counter app to track movements. This had great reviews and a contacts on timer for when that time comes. Cost $5 as soon as you get into it, figured why not, paid it, REALLY WISH I DIDNT. Whenever my phone locks the timer stops, whenever I go to use another app, the timer stops. Doctors say 10 kicks over the course of an hour, yeah they usually come quicker, but what, I’m not supposed to use my phone for an hour? Or I’m not supposed to let my phone screen lock for an hour? That’s insane. When I track in the morning the moments are a lot smaller, so I got my 10 kicks over the course of 8 minutes, but this timer says “2:22”. TERRIBLE
