It’s okay till it’s not.

Very good information provided does make you think. However regarding Trauma 1 and 2 portion I would actively recommend AGAINST this. There were numerous rationales that were effectively “because”. Or the questions don’t make you think/ educate you. They genuinely serve as “gotcha” questions that were right on a technicality but I would strongly argue are so granular you couldn’t say they’re even book right answers or even objectively right.
There is a question where striking a kids foot against consent was the right answer sent it the Head EMS teacher asking is this correct response was no faith in this app effectively.
For quiz questions
EMTpass is great outside of all of Trauma I would recommend pocket prep for that.
Best EMT Study App

Used this prior to my NREMT Written Exam and it 100% helped me pass on the first try. All the questions are in the same format as the NREMT, and the practice exams even helped to teach me more. 10/10, recommended to all my classmates
Dated- Needs to be redone.

The app is like using a windows vista computer. It’s dated. It doesn’t help and doesn’t get me excited to take the national. Hope to get a refund.
Glitchy

The drag and drops are cool but they aren’t on the NREMT so no point in them but also are glitchy to drag and drop them and barely work i have to skip them.
Just Took the NREMT app is nothing like it.

I bought this app hoping it would help prepare me for the NREMT, but unfortunately, it did not. I just took the NREMT today and went in feeling fairly confident because I’ve been using this app for the past few months and have become pretty knowledgeable based on what it taught me. However, this app was nothing like the actual test.
It didn’t cover many of the topics that appeared on the exam, nor were the questions similar in format. I’d recommend finding a different app or relying on a study book instead, especially focusing on different diseases, which made up most of the test. I also recommend studying medical terminology, as there were many questions about definitions, signs, and symptoms. It would have been helpful if this app included those topics, but unfortunately, it did not match the NREMT’s content well.

I have been using this app to study for my upcoming NREMT exam and this app has done nothing but make me second guess myself on almost everything. There have been multiple times that I have answered a question to get it wrong, to then come across the same question again later and get it wrong again because the correct answer changed from when I saw it the first time. Not only that but I have come across multiple typos and grammatical errors on this app as well. I know that sounds extremely critical but if I’m spending money on this app I expect much better than that. I KNOW MY STUFF but this app is making me feel otherwise.
It’s debatable…

This app is good for practice, however I feel a lot of things contradict what I have previously learned in the classroom. It’s a double edged sword because you get to learn more but at the same time it makes you doubt a lot of what you actually know. One big problem I have is the misspelling in some of the questions, it makes me wonder how much effort was really put into such an expensive app and how accurate it can really be if some of the words are not spelled correctly.
I eventually enjoyed using this app to study.

When I first began EMT everyone recommended both this app and EMS Pocket prep. I will admit at first I liked pocket prep more and I still recommend it. The questions on this one just seemed more difficult and I couldn’t understand them. Eventually I decided I’m going conquer this app and really focus on why the answers are the way the app explains them. When it finally clicks then you will understand. I’m a decent test taker when I can memorize key words but the NREMT isn’t like that. I think in the end this app helped me a lot. I ended up passing on my first try.
