  • Too slow

It shouldn’t take 30 seconds to open a calendar app. It’s actually shocking how bad the iOS Proton apps are.

Aesthetically, the calendar has made quite a few improvements. Usability wise, the app is not a viable primary option.
  • Good, but no offline support and no search function

I've been a proton suite user for a year, but still use Apple calendar because this app still does not allow viewing, editing, or adding events when in airplane mode and there is no search function at all on the app. As soon as these two things are fixed I am going to be recommending this app to everyone I know, but until then I suggest continuing to use Apple with advanced data protection.
  • Neat Calendar App.

The calendar app is simple & easy to use. It has a clear interface which supports easy navigation. It does everything I need it to do.

Solid calendar app. I really like that dates passed are dimmed. That said, I have often used the search feature in Google calendar and would love to see that here!

It’d be great if you add a feature on the calendar for a to-do list that you can add on a day, similar to what Google calendar has.
  • Can we work on the essentials first??

Calendar. Mail. VPN. Passwords. This is where you all started and the Mail app and website are great. The Passwords app and website are great. The Calendar website? Amazing. And then we get to the app… what happened? VPN. Hmmm, it’s ok. And while we’re on apps that y’all should tweak before coming out with new apps … Proton Drive could use some major help. That one SCREAMS do-over. I haven’t used the other ones yet, however, when I do, I hope you all have really done your due diligence before putting those apps out because, as a paid subscriber, I would rather you do the main ones well and not have a whole bunch of other different apps where half of them suck. This only my opinion.
  • I wish there was a search function and holiday options

There needs to be a search function and there are issues when toggling in between calendars when adding a new event. Also, shared calendars arr unavailable in the app. I have to go to the website on my phone. Inconvenient. There also needs an option to add holidays other than Christian holidays.
  • Needs work

Honestly it’s not the best. The lack of viewing options has me a little disappointed. I should also be able to pinch to zoom in and out to view more than just dots, when it comes to the month to month. Take some notes from Apple Calendar and maybe I will swap back and give this another shot.

Overall I’ve had a pretty good experience with this app. I had like one syncing issue since getting it, but besides that Im still glad to have switched over from google calendar
