  • iPad landscape orientation please!

Please add landscape orientation for iPad, this app is amazing but it doesn’t feel good to use on an iPad, holding a 10 inch device vertically is uncomfortable

A longtime user of the Proton apps wanting to say thanks for the iPad screen size support. When you have a moment, adding support for rotating iPad screen would be appreciated. Thanks for your ongoing efforts in support of privacy.
  • Crashes on load

Latest version crashes on load. I am a paid subscriber, contacted support and they said they are “working on it”. It’s been weeks. Completely unacceptable.
  • Please add tasks!

Just made the switch from Google Calendar. Overall Proton Calendar has the features I expect (custom event colors, multiple calendars, subscribing to outside calendars) and was easy to switch to. But to me it’s missing a very important feature - tasks that can be checked off.

The calendar app is a mirror of the iOS app. Would be amazing if Proton released a full featured iPad calendar app. Guess I’ll stick to web for now though inconvenient.
  • Needs Word and an iPad version

I’ve invested in the entire Proton ecosystem through a 2 year subscription. I’m being patient as they make incremental improvements to bring their Apple applications up to speed, but come on folks you can at least give us a dedicated iPad app while we wait. Proton Calendar appears to be the furthest behind of their apps, unfortunately Proton Mail doesn’t play well with iCal so I’m forced to use a Proton Calendar along with iCal for invites that arrive via email.
  • Kinda useless

Without full edit control, i cant rely on it. Eg. Meeting invite has 15 min alerts set but i need more warning. I cant edit it so i have to create my own reminder… remind me why i need this app then. Put it back in, its not done yet.
  • Needs work but good as an isolated product

EDIT: thanks for the response. If I could say one thing for the iOS app, it would be iPad support
  • Love having a private calendar :)

There is nothing more precious and personal than my actual schedule (who I meet, when, where). That’s why I love using Proton. The app is simple and does everything you would expect from a good calendar on top of being fully encrypted. Proton also seems to be working on a Task app which would be really neat!!
  • No iPad version

I’ve used Proton for years and still there is no native iPad version of this app. Gets the job done but the blown up phone UI is painful to use on a larger screen. A native iPad version would take it from “meh” to “great”
