The Lox Club is a private, membership-based dating app for Jews with ridiculously high standards. – Prospective members may download the app and submit an application. Once submitted, applications are placed in queue and reviewed continually. An applicant's status can change from "waitlisted" to "accepted" at any time. Once accepted, members have the option to purchase a 3, 6, or 12 month auto-renewing membership and will have full functionality of the entire service while their subscription is active. The Lox Club's community values – trust, respect, and privacy – are core to the membership experience. Members who act in a manner that is not reflective of these values and other community guidelines may have their accounts suspended or terminated. Initial payment is charged via iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase and auto-renewals are charged within 24 hours prior to the end of the applicable period. Auto-renewal may be turned off at any time through iTunes Account Settings. Any subscription cancellation will be effective at the end of the applicable period. • Not Exclusive

Went through the whole process of being vetted, set up my profile, then at the end was asked to pay $36 fee for a 3 month subscription. Decided against it! Fast forward to a couple days later and I’m getting dms through Instagram from guys who have seen me on Lox Club?? Why is my profile up? I never subscribed to the service?? Also the men dm’ing me are definitely nowhere near the standards of what you would consider to be exclusive.
  • Not quite ready.

There’s potential but right now it’s pretty frustrating to use. You only get to see about 5 people every few hours, and there are no filters other than age, so you have no way to ensure that you’re getting shown people that live in the same area - much less same state - as you or anything else you’re looking for. I’m also confident that most of the people on here dipped but their profile is still circulating because the match rate is INCREDIBLY low. Like if you get 2 matches per month, you’re absolutely killing it.
  • Wasted Potential

I agree with @mautaumatthew, if I’m paying more for a dating app compared to the other ones on the market then my hopes are definitely going to be high. I liked the idea and concept at first but Unfortunately they never quite got the algorithm down in regards to finding local singles around me (not someone that lives in New York). Now I get it, you put them there to make it look full while you’re getting new sign ups but it gets to a point where you don’t trust the app as a beneficial ROI at all. Makes a lot of sense why Jewish girls stay on a dating apps that have a free alternative such as bumble/hinge and pick the “only Jewish” option. Now I get it, you don’t want to have a free option! you want it to be exclusive where all the cool kids can be at but at some point you’re going to realize your core demographic *wink *wink 💸🏦🥅
  • Great app!

This app is amazing and fantastically curated with interesting people. I highly recommend.
  • D grade Raya

Loved the concept of this and thought it might be Raya meets hinge - cool people with more substance. However, I’ve found the app to be very lacking. Few potential matches in my city (Los Angeles) and several of the live events they host that I’ve been too have been Terribly managed. They’ve also lacked good customer service. Overall, save your money and stay on Hinge or Raya or really anything else. Very disappointed.
  • Worst dating app ever.

I signed up for 6 months with this app and went on only two dates… plus, one of the guys halfway in revealed that he’s not actually Jewish 😳
  • Best dating app for Jews 100%

Sexiest girls I’ve ever seen are looking for husbands on this app. If I could give more stars I would. What a great concept and I love how it dates back from tradition. I’ll take 2 pickles please
  • It’s Decent

Cool new dating app but I don’t get why I’m paying for it and sometimes only get match options in other states? I think my opinion would change once they start sorting out potential matches that are within a close proximity to yourself. That’s easy tech that I’m sure every other app has.
  • Selection

Hi! I mostly get matched w ny & la men that are great but not in chicago! Maybe do some type of marketing outreach to get the Chicago Jews to sign up! The NY Times article about lox club was forwarded to me by many of my chicago friends & family. Maybe an article in a chicago publication? But I love the concept of lox club and great selection of men just too far
