As a Pikmin connoisseur myself. I find Pikmin Bloom to be highly enjoyable. It also gives me another reason to go places and run laps around the house too. I would recommend Pikmin Bloom to just about anyone.

I love pretty much everything about this game. The only thing I somewhat dislike is the pikmin not fully coming into the frame when calling them. I also think adding a button to “plant ALL flowers” would be a great addition. I’m honestly tired of having to go into the app to plant more flowers when it could be automatically doing so.
  • Used to be great

This game used to be great, you could work hard and collect event Pikmin if you stayed dedicated to walking and playing the game on a consistent basis. Not anymore. Niantic’s well publicized financial problems have turned this game into a cash grab. It is almost impossible to collect all event Pikmin without paying money to do so. With all of the cancellations of Niantic games over the last year I find it hard to continue to spend money on it.

I just got this game and I’m already having a blast! It’s easy and fun to play and very motivating. The notifications tell you whenever your Pikmin is ready, making it easy to know when you should open the app. My reason for this being better than Pokemon go is that the Pikmin are fun and exiting to grow and name, whereas in Pokemon go all you want is the one with the most power. Also, it encourages you to take steps rather than just ride in the car and pick up Pokemon on your way. Also the Pikmin are so cute with their costumes! My only regret is how hard it is to get coins. The only way you can get them without a purchase is planting tons of flowers. Other than that small detail, the game is free, cute, motivating, and ad free!

I got my grandma into this game and I love it and it’s intricate details and she loves the accessibility and MOST importantly we both have been infinitely more active, I explore Vegas where I’m from now and she will pace the house or the neighborhood knowing she can track her steps and feel proud!
  • Steps not tracked properly

I was really into the game at first but this years “community day” made me delete the app. The special day is supposed to give you rewards if you hit 10,000 steps. After getting well over 10,000 steps, I literally would keep seeing my daily steps get to around 9,800 and then go down to around 9,500. Googled the issue and it’s been a common problem due to the Apple Watch providing data the app can’t handle properly. Hopefully Nintendo can pay for more programmers to solve this problem
